Yes that is Fluffy, and I thank you all very much for your sympathy.
Botts, is that Fluffy in your avtar?
Yes I do. But it is against the law here.
My cat died in his sleep. The vet isn't open, the Rescue League isn't open. So the police are dispatching someone to pick him up.
I am sad.

What a retarded law

I agree, but at least we are going to be able to cremate him, and I want to thank all of you again for your messages of condolence.
Is there a reason why it is against the law?
health hazard
What? How can it be a health hazard if the cat is died and buried under the ground? People are buried under the ground too and I don't know any of the health hazards from people and pets under the ground
most corpses were improperly buried which leads to spreading disease and/or water contamination. If you want to secretly bury your dog/cat, just go to forest and find a spot next to big tree. Dig DEEP. now that's a proper and safe way to bury one.
about the graveyard, it is a designated place for it and the dead bodies were prepared for it (as in removing blood, etc.). and the bodies were buried properly. Do you even want to know what would happen if the body was improperly buried????? YUCK!
Sure, what would happen?
Sure, what would happen?
This is interesting I want to know too.
