What are you thinking about? Part VIII

My point is many of us do not want the image in our head. Just leave the details to yourself.
People had posted about ISIS beheading people and I didn't see you complain about that !

Listen... behead and slaughter is a proper term media uses to tell public. Media doesn't tell public the blood, or graphic details that make people sensitive. I pointed out that you lost your appetite.... that should tell you something... people don't want to lose appetite when they read something they don't want to know or see.

Moving on please.

Thinking about getting a loft bed frame for my spare/storage room. Then I should be able to bring the rest of the stuff from storage here and eliminate that extra expense. Though I have two bikes in storage that need to find homes first. (one belongs to my daughter, so she'll have to find a place to keep hers, the other I had offered to someone for his son, but he hasn't gotten it yet as he lives about an hour or so away).

The dentist :(

Have to get put under using anastetic (sp?) to get a tooth out that is really broken up in there. It has to come out in pieces along with its root.

I hope the tooth is in the back of your mouth. Not visible to people. I hope the surgery is not painful.

Thinking that I found an organization to be a part of. Deaf Women of Color. Went to their fundraising party last night in DC. I felt so welcome and I met over 50 different women. I loved it!

Thank you! Heading out in just a few minutes. Mom also bought some perennials for me too. :)

Back home. It was a nice time at the cemetery.

I came home with 2 new Asiatic lilies. I already had fuschia, mom bought me yellow and orange ones too. Can't wait to see them bloom. I just need to figure out WHERE to plant these things. I am a terrific graphic designer, but I totally suck at landscaping. And with the 5 acres we bought, where the heck do we plant these that will get maintained, and not forgotten, but out of the way of the in-ground sprinklers, and so on .... The in-ground sprinklers go right up to the house (we wish we planned that better, and I did try to talk him into planning out a "future" landscape area but that fell on no-ears. ) so that makes it difficult. The sprinklers going off will take off all the petals off any plants so having them near the house is almost not an option. Arrggghhhh !!!

I am thinking too tired to watch the Billboard Music Awards

I am seeing more gluten free food Cheerios is now gluten free and I brought a box by mistake and end up giving it my dog and returned the box.

I passed on this ! I am not crazy about a lot of music today , it's too loud and everyone is half naked . I feel if they had good enough voice they wouldn't need to take
their clothes off. Old Blue Eyes didn't !

I think more and more things are becoming gluten free because it's just becoming more common - and especially the "big name" brands or companies want to capitalize on the rise in it.

The gluten free foods isn't bad... well some of it. One of my friends who IS legitimately gluten intolerant is thrilled she can make more varieties of dishes than before. Not so limited anymore. I did once try gluten free noodles (mac and cheese) as sister was testing it as a dish as some school mates of nephew's are gluten intolerant etc. Wasn't too bad. A slightly different taste and something that's likely acquired.

Diabetic recipes went through something similar. Now there are really good desert recipes out to the point that I have gotten some from friends with the idea of fixing one thing for a whole group. Some were in the habit of fixing two things for a church group and it doesn't make sense to me now (they won't hurt the rest of us to eat it and can be really good).

I've been trying gluten free since I've had some symptoms over the past year and 1/2 that possibly could be triggered or correlated to gluten sensitivity <not celiac>, so I've decided to try it...used to eating differently since I have dairy allergy and eat mostly plant-based<avoiding refined sugar also> anyway and eliminated some other things from my diet last summer as a result of the symptoms I just mentioned. I have some quinoa and legume-based pasta that I really like.
