No Oh I hate when that happen ! My mom doctor told my sister that she had a few months left to live so I called family members to let them know . Mom wanted to know why everyone calling her and coming to see her. Mom was really upset when she find out the doctor she was dying !
She lives about other whole year . I am glad you didn't kill yourself trying to get to your mom. This remind of the book 'Death in the family'
 
I have met every little hitler that works on railway today I did not realise such pedantic jobs worth people in this part of England or in the world..working on railways seems to bring it out

Of course , so typical me..... 3 weeks ago when I had the surgery, it was 4 days before our first day back at work so I went back to work 4 days after surgery and I barely made it through the day. Watching the interpreters sign all day for a workshop caused my head to spin.

First day with the CI, it was our Back to School Night at work meaning we worked 10 hours yesterday. With a long day at work and first day with it, I barely made it through the day. Always time everything wrong! lol
 
Thinking how excited I am to hang out with my deaf friends in DC for the H Street Festival tmw!!! While I am starting to like my hearing co workers and being comfortable with them..I still need my Deaf world.

I have been there before. Not in a long time. Since getting that new job, my life is been unbelievably busy. I dont know if you or anyone else noticed but I dont come to AD much anymore. I was gone for a while and didnt realize it. I can check it out when I am not busy...whenever that is! lol

Just called my insurance company and my renters insurance AND my car insurance both will be less when I move to the apartment. Yeah for more savings. :P

Will you have a garage or at least a carport when you move? I am under the impression that you are far enough north for that to make a big difference especially in the winter time.

I'd shoot my foot off gladly if it were a choice between doing that and watching Big Brother. I can not believe the garbage that is allowed on American television. I'm absolutely ashamed.

I like British tv and watch as much as I can pick up over here, mostly from public television. I just loved Last Tango in Halifax. Hope we see more episodes.
 
I've never watched an episode of Big Brother; I guess my life has been incomplete.

Same tastes here. Soon PBS will be back in full swing with the British Sunday nights.

I like British TV too , we use to have NH public TV too and I was told MA pubic TV had Comcast remove NH public TV so people would not donate money to them . I like Inspector George Gently , Keeping up Appearance and Fawlty Tower a lot . Yeah is some new show coming about a serial killer killing women and there a preview on TV . I sure would not want my granddaughter seeing that preview ! It was sick !
