Dropped of the papers and checks for applying for an apartment. It says it can take up to 10 days to find out if I'm approved. Now to start packing up the house. Fun, fun....not.

Once approved will need to get in touch with a moving company - will probably use the same one we've used in the past. Need to find out how much to move just the furniture vs moving everything. Will probably save myself some $$ by packing everything myself and then will have to move the china/crystal myself as I know they will not move fragile stuff that they do not pack themselves.

Apartment is only about 3 miles from where I am now.

Looking forward to no more yard work (need to get out there and mow today) and now snow shoveling, though I've been blessed with neighbors who have helped with the snow.

Thinking of the stupid thing I did this evening. When getting out of my car, which is parked very close to my husbands big truck in the garage, I slammed my car door on my own leg. Cut my calf and it will have a huge bruise tomorrow. Silly me.

thinking of mother who back in hospital very sick. This do not stop my sister going to Turky FOR HOLIDAY..I look around mother house not one picture of my children she also written us out of her Will and ruined my childhood
I due to go London tomorrow for a week it something arranged weeks back also get chance go deaf club..the hospital say next of kin need be there. that woman cruel hard and not nice..To go or not to go that is the question

my mother's mother was abusive and that's why I never met her

but I hope you get a chance to go to deaf club!

I'll admit that is a very hard question, but I think you would feel guilty if you don't stay with your mum. Of course it's your decision and no one can make it for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

OUCH ! Do you think you'll need a tetanus shot ? Put an ice pack on it to help with the swelling . I banged my toes really bad last week and my granddaughter banged her toe the same day . There much be something in the air causing us to do this !
 
I twisted my ankle tripping over the tree roots while I was running away from a dog that was not on leash. I hope it is not broken because I only have partial health insurance.

Did you ice your ankle that will help keep the swelling down. OUCH ! I had done this a knew times and it hurt. Does it hurt to put weight on your foot? Was there a leash law for dogs where this happen , I hate it when people let their dogs run lose when there is a leash law.
We been very accident prone around here the past few weeks . Try to keep your foot up with an ice pack on it .

I am icing my ankle right now. Yes it hurts to put weight on my foot. I am sure there is a leash law in my area. Stupid people! :(

Yep, it didn't hurt till I opened the door. I remember putting into a glass of ice water. Even my school librarian made sure I put it in ice when I was in the library.

Had a share of that few times when I was teenager, the car door shut on my finger and thumb. Hurt like hell for few days.
