Megan's Law?
Yes. That law specifically says no harm can come to sex offenders and family. That's why I can't disclose the specific kinds of crime he did-- I would be violating that law.

At the federal level, Megan's Law is known as the Sexual Offender (Jacob Wetterling) Act of 1994, and requires persons convicted of sex crimes against children
I'm not sure that's what it means. Meagan's law is a law requiring authorities to notify communities of the whereabouts of convicted sex offenders. It was first enacted by New Jersey in 1995.
I'm sorry man but the fact you just told us the Megan's Law tells us what that offender did.

In the future it would have been good enough to just say, "He's in prison" and leave it at that. And if anyone asks why, just say, "Confidential".

So you're protecting him by telling us what he did without telling us what he did
You know, one thing I do find not quite right about the sex offender laws is that even if it was consensual you can be a sex offender. I would understand the label if you forced yourself on a girl or exposed yourself or any kind of forcible behavor.
But it's a little ridiculous when the girl WANTED it and even admits it in court. I saw a documentary on that and a guy had to be registered as a sex offender for having sex with his 16 year old girlfriend. She even testified in court that she wanted it and asked for it.
I can't specifically SAY what he was charged with-- that's one of the things that I can't disclose. Yes, he's an offender, but exactly what kind, I can't say.
Honestly I don't care what he did. I never asked what he did. The point was "I'm the only that survived"..............yet the guy is probably alive, surviving, somewhere.
That is interesting. I didn't know that many places had the OK for 17 years old. I thought it was 18 years old all across USA. Maybe even 21 years old in some areas.
Probably true. Don't know, though.
Then why did you say he didn't survive? And when I told you you should revisit the definition of survive why did you ........
Wait never mind.
