What are you thinking about? Part VI

I think most women are talking about NATURAL child birth. No drugs just the most intense pain you can imagine. Then after dealing with that for 15-30 hours you have to push a 8 lb baby out of a very small opening. It would be like a guy pushing out a orange through his penis. Try it then get back with us:)

Well....
(Drags cigarette)
Cop it up to the fAll. If you ladies wouldn't of dragged us all down to this fallen ugly world by eatin that damn apple
(Inhales smoke, exhales smoke in the shape of a naked eve in the garden who is smokin hot)
You wouldn't have such pangs of childbirth
(Drags cigarette)
But instead. Smokin hot eve eat the apple,
And thus here we are
(Drags cigarette)

Much better! I can actually turn my head.

Still pretty gross looking though.

My husband snapped my picture in a restaurant the other night and I quickly turned my head to the non shingly side.

Then I decided the resultant picture made me look like an elderly turtle.

It hasn't been my best week. :P

Sorry Botti you are still dealing with all of this. You made me laugh at the elderly turtle comment. I really hope you feel better soon.

I've never had shingles, does it look anything like my allergic reaction from my CI surgery?

How much longer do you think it will take? Also can you get the shingles vaccine?

I see
And I thought you talking Bout roofing

Not old enough for one thing, and I don't think I will anyway. There are some things about it that make me think just having shingles is better.

And I imagine I will be just fine within a couple of weeks. Better be since we have a large family gathering planned.

And yes it does look quite a bit like your reaction, except it starts out with bigger welts, which then resolve into smaller blisters and scab over.

 Laying shingles on a roof is like a relaxing simple math exercise.

Quite fun as I remember from my youth and an old barn we converted into a house.

Getting shingles scares the heck out of me. OMG it is like my allergic reaction, that is just awful and yours was really painful too right?

I also hope you get over this soon for your family gathering. You are one strong cookie.

It is yes, and I don't want to sound like I am preaching, but I practice yoga and meditation and try to do things that take my mind off it.

Just pushing it aside really does help me.

I will admit to TMJ as a result of years of this attitude though.

As for me and pain relief, I do a lot of walking, meditating, and relaxing as well. I keep my mind as busy as possible. I think of a variety of things and I am okay. People may not believe me, but I don't care any longer. I do things for me, myself and my family. I also have my dog. She is my heart and soul right now.

My Chicago, IL thread is keeping me busy. I have added nearly 30 photos today, and have plans to add many more. Once the weather warms up, pretty sure that's gonna be my sole focus, as I have plans to do plenty of good things.

Post any body pics yet or chalk lines?
Your in chigaco right?

That "wee feline" is my son's cat and he is 16-18 pounds of pure love and fat. He is never left out, but is my son's pride and joy.

Yeah-- only one problem-- it doesn't HURT like a fracture. That's the part that perplexed me. I had a microfracture of my foot years ago, and that was quite painful, but this is nowhere near that painful. I suppose it's just stiff or something. No idea.
The reason it doesn't hurt like a fracture is because it's NOT a fracture. Nothing perplexing about that.

When we were in a car accident, TCS broke a rib, and believe me, there was no doubt about it.

Do I know for certain that it's fractured? No, I don't, but given the fact that those same ribs were badly injured not that long ago, I wouldn't be surprised if they had SOMETHING going on. Last time I had to deal with that side of the ribcage, it was muscle damage I was dealing with, and in all honesty, I've suspected they never fully healed.
Have you ever heard of hypochondria?

Take a look for yourself, and no, there won't be any CSI-style photos here, or any crime scene photos, which, by the way, having posession of is not allowable.

Once. Not pleasant, and quite painful, but I'm not at that level of pain, nor is it daily. It's just on and off every now and then.

I have a spring mattress, AND a box mattress. No, it's not constipation, either, cause I took a sh*t not long ago, so I'm good. And FYI-- no tubes will be going up my ass anytime soon.
Well, that made my day!
