What are you thinking about? Part VI

One problem with that theory-- should've been dead 2 weeks ago if that was the case, so no, it's not.

:laugh2::laugh2::laugh2::laugh2: I'm sorry but that's a real hilarious method of self-diagnosis. Let's see.... do I have a pulse? Yes, ok I'm still alive!

Yeah, well. The good news is, the pain is starting to subside, so I think I'll be all right. Just one of those bad days, I suppose. I DO get them every now and then.

Mark, as we get older we ALL have pain. Some of us suffer very badly from pain. We just don't post every little ache. Try harder to be positive.

Guessing you have one of those old-timey beds with metal springs?....or is it the box spring.....try turning the mattress over.....how much do you weigh?....did you somehow poke a hole and the spring popped up?.....More than likely it's the way you slept...all balled up....No soft mattress for me...I like the "firm" ones...a soft mattress or an ol' beat up mattress can give you back problems...but RIBS?....could be constipation too!....An enema will solve that one!...Too much gas....?

Head for the ER....pronto!....

Speaking of positive, my back has strengthened since I started resting after this morning's walk to Lake Michigan. Think I'm gonna go snap some more photos for here. :)

I have a spring mattress, AND a box mattress. No, it's not constipation, either, cause I took a sh*t not long ago, so I'm good. And FYI-- no tubes will be going up my ass anytime soon.

Currently thinking that I am so very glad the ChicagoBlue does not have my pain issues. I deal with pain 24/7/365. I have allergies that prevent me from taking any pain medication. Recently in the hospital, they "experimented" and almost lost me just using antibiotics.

**Decided to just get rid of that portion. I know other's have quoted it and it's still out there, but at least I tried. Did not mean to ruffle feathers. I know when I am not wanted any longer. Thanks so much for that.

With my muscle disease I need the softest mattress available. I actually sleep on a mattress plus a 6 inch piece of foam with a 3 inch memory foam on top of that. Still wake up super sore. I feel as if some had to experience what others deal with on a daily basis they just might be grateful and stop complaining about every little ache. A day without pain would be amazing!!!!!!!

Oh here's a pain level for you, try have 2 C-Sections with absolutely no pain medication. I did and I do not wish it on even my worst enemy. My doctor and I warned the Delivery staff, so they got the hardiest male nurses trained for this work to come in. I still broke the fingers and knuckles for 2 of them and that was with just the first child.

So uplifting.

Maybe we can start a competitive whining contest!

Omg! I can't imagine the pain. Women tolerate more pains than men. They are wimps! Lol

I do use this bed that is orthopedic with idk what much more stuff for my back and my legs and idk what else. Everyone says its the msot unconfortabel bed ever but i like it. except i usually sleep on my side and i cant right now with my arm.

I think women can handle a lot more pain then men. I like that people believe I am strong in what I deal with.

By the way Botti....how are your Shingles?

No it's not.
Though I know it's a common myth.
How does one even measure that? Then how does one even measure that for an entire population of every single male and female living?
What are the variables
What kind of pain?
Duration of pain?
Ect ect
In short
It's a myth and bullshit
If it was true though, then there shouldn't be much outrage when woman get smacked punched or knocked out or worse then right?
It they can take more
Mmmmmmm

I think most women are talking about NATURAL child birth. No drugs just the most intense pain you can imagine. Then after dealing with that for 15-30 hours you have to push a 8 lb baby out of a very small opening. It would be like a guy pushing out a orange through his penis. Try it then get back with us:)

Much better! I can actually turn my head.

Still pretty gross looking though.

My husband snapped my picture in a restaurant the other night and I quickly turned my head to the non shingly side.

Then I decided the resultant picture made me look like an elderly turtle.

It hasn't been my best week. :P
