Looks like no furnace till next week sometime. Hope it's a bit warmer over the weekend.
 
Im wondering how does people face these people who are rude, not talking to you at all?
I was in that position yesterday at the deaf club :\

Been there myself....wasn't pleasant...and....my nerves must have shown, because some guy came up to me and signed..."Don't bite ur fingernails...it will give you Cancer"....:shock:...I didn't know how to respond to that remark, as he looked "serious"....I just smiled...:roll:...haven;t gone to another deaf club since.
 
Thinking of how funny it was when I paid my friend $44.85 in quarters. His reaction was priceless.

He had no patience to wait for me to find a way to pay him back, so I thought I would do it in a comical way. That reminds me of an article I once saw of a man paying off a settlement with way more quarters than I did. See if I can bring that up.

You don't even understand how that's impossible do you? That you can't have 44.85 in just quarters.....it's mathematically impossible

I actually got $44.75 in quarters. The $.10 was just to make sure I had the correct total.

I'm sure your friend is very grateful for that extra dime!! Maybe he would be able to get a Matchbox car with word "turbo" written across it at garage sales.

I was in a somewhat similar position yesterday by some deaf teachers from another school. Talk about big time judgmental people. I confronted one of them because I caught her saying something about one of our students in a negative way to another teacher. She tried to cover her ass by saying she was talking about her students. If so, she shouldn't be talking about her students in such a degrading manner. However, I think she was lying and trying to cover her ass. I couldn't believe the unprofessionalism.

However, they aren't a part of my area's Deaf community so I am grateful for that.

How do you get to owe someone $44.75 or $31.30?

I would think it would be $ 30.00 or $35.00.
 
People condemned me over a fb game. I just wanted a little fun and it got out of control. People saying I was out of character :( my fb starus was a game.

Might have paid for a meal or some sort of merchandise (though 44.85 is an odd amount for sure...) or even to cover a bill for them if they came up short. I've done that...

A lot of times I will get paid back for odd amounts totally. Usually it's when I go to the store and when I get things, I pick up a few things for MIL and she pays me back the exact amount she would pay and never rounds it up or down. I have 3 checks on my desk right now, $21.32, $47.57 and $18.93. That's how she rolls. Been doing this now for almost 5 years.
