Kristina, here's to hoping that everything works out. I'm sorry for the stress you're feeling! And for as much as I LOVVVEEEE cats (if you didn't know LOL) I do know yours will be okay with the move. Take that off your mind for now. If the move is going to happen, we can help you as the time gets closer as far as getting them ready to transport. We're here for you! :)

I'm thinking...what the hell was I doing yesterday that I hurt my leg and didn't notice until today?? O.O

You and me both! My right arm has been hurting since Christmas, and I'm like "what the heck did I do to it???" I didn't fall or brace anything, so I have no idea ...

Exactly! I think we were kidnapped by aliens...lol btw I love the kitty picture!

Okay - This is a question from my hubby and I couldn't answer as I have never done this. We are seriously looking to move out of Florida or at least where hubby can get a better job. He has a line on one in Ohio. The human resource director spoke with him on the phone today and we had to redo hi resume and cover letter a little. She is seriously considering him. What hubby wants to know is, since we will be driving to wherever we move to and he will be driving a Ryder or U-Haul truck and pulling my car and I will drive his Expedition. How is the best way to transport the cats? We will obviously get better carriers than we have now, and they will be in those while in the Expedition. He is concerned about bathroom stops for them and the motels for the trip. The cats have their collars, but have never been leash trained. I am lost about his and we are planning on keeping these cats. Not sure the female will handle it well since she is so skittish, but we will see.

I made a 1000 mile trip with a kitten awhile back. My sis is a vet tech she just had me withhold food and water from midnight on the night before the trip. i had a soft carrier with the kitten in it lined with towels and just gave the kitten some water on each gas stop and she did fine. Slept most of the way. No sedatives or anything at all.

:gpost:...very good advise!

I'm just up late thinking about everything and nothing at the same time.

I'm still up because of my ear pain (Cholesteatoma)....took 2 pain pills, hoping they will knock me out...no luck so far! See the doctor again Feb. 11th to find out when my surgery will be....joined the group at Yahoo! for Cholesteatoma members...learned a lot, and that my taste buds, (after surgery) will be missing for around 6 months! And recovery after surgery, up to 6 weeks....jeez!...

I'm sure to pass out real soon!

The Amish believe that modern technology only further complicates life and is a distraction from what they should be focusing on and leads to pride. Apparently my Amish neighbors believe my flat-screen TV is a sign of having too much pride. :/

I need company on my aim

Thank you for that info. We did call the vet's office this morning and that's just what we were told to do. These cats are 3 & 4 years old. We were told to keep them separate as they don't do well together in a closed space. These vets have known the cats for the last 2-3 years while I have only hade them for a week.

Are they not entitled to their opinions?
