My in-laws had some heavy a$$ed concrete deer in their yard for Christmas. After we moved to Missouri in 1996, they couldn't put them back in the garage, so they left them in the yard all year. Seems, someone stole them, but didn't bring a vehicle, they tried to carry them down the road. Both deer were found about 2 houses down, totally shattered. The kids that stole them, went to the hospital because of muscle strains. Got arrested right there. 2000 hours community service with the little detail, that it had to be outdoors community service.
What was the purpose of putting the decorative deer in their front yard?
Christmas I guess. She had them for over 20 years. They always went out at Christmas and went next to her nativity scene.

Take a visit to Salem, Mass.
When I was health aid I saw a house with fake deer in the yard and thought it was funny. The next time I went by the house a guy was shooting a cross arrow at the fake deer neck! I thought that was really strange. When I had to see my client again the housde with the fake deer had a dead deer hanging in a tree! And it was cut open! My client was really up set as the litte kids were crying about the dead deer. That fake deer was bad karma for the dead deer! Some people use it to practice killing a real deer like that guy did. The guy was very creepy looking , I did not talk to him.
Don't believe me then, just ingore my posts, Jiro.
However the Bludells Cottage I posted few posts ago is a very old building and might possible be the oldest buillding in Canberra, Australia. I am discssuing with my friend at the moment on how we did saw last night.
