Weight

Can somebody help me figure out?

Since most babies weight 7 pounds when they are born.

Do pregnant women have to eat for 2 people?

Or is that a myth?

After having baby, can the swollen stomach go away and can you go back same weight before?

So since the swollen stomach go away and baby is born which make you 10 pounds lighter, and you go back eating for one person, then what is the problem with women stay the same size, they were before?

Do preg women eat for two? No, if u eat for two, then u will be way overweight. average for preg women to gain i think 25 or 30. Been awhile since I was preggy. I remember my ob dr told me to limit to 25 or 30 lbs but I ended up gained more than that.

same weight as before? I did with my first one then second one is harder because of age. After turn 25, my body change so it was difficult to lose weight after second birth than first ones. My belly never is same as I was before pregnant. Of course I miss flat belly. My kids are worth it to have my belly destroy so I am not complain.

I'm still debating whether I want to do that or not. It's a personal issue for me, and I'm not sure I want to open myself up like this, but we'll see. If someone ELSE wants to create a thread, then fine by me.

Your not alone, :) I will create thread when I have more time.

by the way, asking HOW MUCH A PERSON WEIGHS IS DAMN RUDE- ESPECIALLY LOW-CLASS! :thumbd:

No, it's being direct. A person who asks of your weight just might be genuinally curious with no vile intentions.

FeistyChick got a good point. It's true they worked hard to get where they wanna be. They deserved a round of applause. :applause:

The funny part is that you say it's not possible for yourself.

No, I was offended. You have to realize what atmosphere you are dealing with. Like I said in the other post, the majority of us have eating disorders. Anyone with an eating disorder realizes that anything having to do with weights, pictures and such, CAN have an impact. unhealthy atitudes and behaviors arise. It's like saying..."Hey, look at her. She looks awesome. I sure wish I could look like that." Then, that person sets about starving themselves for the next 2 weeks so they can look like that! It's unhealthy. All I was suggesting is that instead of posting pictures and so forth to promote weight loss, we encourage healthy eating habits instead.

If you're old enough, you'd know better than to starve yourself to look like anyone else. Your argument is not even an argument. It's a stupid statement. It's like saying video games cause people to be violent. Only such gullible people will be driven to do some idiotic action of starving themselves or even worse. Since this is a forum where we all share ideas, I reckon that all of you are at least one bit intelligent to know that competing/starving is pointless. If anything, the poster of his/her new pictures should explain how he/she got to the point of losing his/her entire weight.

It's still rude. You wouldn't walk up to someone and ask "Excuse me, how much do you weigh?" Same thing here. We're all strangers for all practical purposes, or most of us are. It's the same principle. It's best to be polite, and not go there.

You sound like you don't know a thing about eating disorders. I suggest you go and do some research into what predisposes someone to one. You actually might learn something.

Eating Disorder,
When most people hear of someone with an eating disorder they almost automatically assume the person has a problem with food. Eating disorders are not a sign that a person has a problem with food, rather eating disorders are actually only the symptoms of underlying problems in that person's life. With proper treatment, people can fully recover.

This section will provide you with definitions, signs and symptoms and physical/medical complications for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and compulsive eating. This section will also provide you with information in regards to the dangers associated with certain products used in an attempt to lose weight and who's at risk.

There's have lot different Definition listing..
Anorexia Nervosa
Bulimia Nervosa
Blinge Eating Disorder
Complusive Overeating
Dangerous Methods of weight control

I already know what eating disorders are. How they even came up to begin with is a joke. The reason why I hardly believe in such a thing is that 99% of eating disorders always have to do with women. It's unheard of men having to deal with this. People put themselves on this. If one has binge eating disorder, does one know that you only need to eat a certain amount of food before becoming full? It's due to abusing food and the lack of discipline from an earlier age. There is always a reason behind everything, whether large or small, it's the reason. I dismiss any type of disorders because they can be a form of self-convincing faith (bullshit) that they need to eat more or throw up or need to be skinnier than they already are.

daniel johns the lead singer from silverchair when was around 16 or so had anorexia and obviously daniel is a guy. he had a fear of food certain foods. It was not a fear of gaining weight, it was more of the shape of the food and what it would do to him inside his throat. he also suffered with depression. He is the only guy i know that had anorexia. He is now a vegan , its like a vegetarian ,but they don't eat any dairy.

What's the matter with you, Yiffzer?
Why can't you be more supportive and understanding with some members in here who have a problem whatever it is instead of putting them down?

Do you always rely on a link? A link doesn't tell the whole truth. One must also realize that it's only America that begin to create those "disorders". In fact, according to America, we ALL have some type of disorder. Ridiculous. I don't see this as often in any other countries. To blame it on a disorder is ridiculous. One must learn to control him/herself from binge consumption and other sad acts - it's not even rocket science to figure this out.

Don't worry. ;) I may sound harsh but I'm not really at all. I'm very supportive, especially when people come to me for help. I always check on my girlfriends (girl friends, not dating friends) to make sure they're fully healthy and not in the habit of anything "disorderous". But there are times when you really need to make it clear - disorders are nothing but rather ridiculous labels on something non-existent. One link will say 75% of Americans don't drink enough water. And then you see that half of America is obese (and rising fast). Not drinking enough water is correlated to obesity! It's rather simple math. If there's any religious devouts here - reading through the Bible or any other holy books - you would realize that God does not want to complicate things so you can focus on caring for yourself, for your family, for your friends and associates, and to worship God. If it is really that simple, why are we human beings making this anymore complicated with our diets and health issues? Some things are rather simple! Please stop thinking that disorders are of something very difficult and complicated - it's not! ;)

My two cents. ;)
