Ultrasound

:laugh2:
It is an old college trick, when substitute teachers come to class and ask ppl to sign on paper. There's always a "Ben Dover" on it. Corny, I know...

Caleb... I don't know, but I have always liked it. Also, it has been in my famiy for many years. Other name I like is Garret too, which is another popular name in my family.

I like Caleb too!
Pick an unusual name, but don't get all complicated with spelling...my sister and I both have names that aren't too unusual but they are spelled differently from the norm so EVERYONE always misspells our names!
Maybe an ethnic name would be cool sounding or something from mythology or history!

Hey Chel, what are your 2 boys' names? :)

Too many boys in this family, my hubby's mother has 10 grandchildren and only 2 are girls
Branden, Collin, Bryan, Andrew, Kevin, Nicholas, Austin, Kieran :D

Vampyrox.. That's funny.. Maybe I call your name as nickname. hey you ben dover (bend over) :naughty:

Oh yeah, it was wonderful! :thumb: 10 fingers, 10 toes, feet, eyes, nose, mouth and everything else are there! WHEW! Also, that third "leg" is there too. :smh: I'll have to think of a boy name. Can't think of another one, since I've already thought of two (my sons, of course).

The nurse gave me a videotape of the ultrasound, and I'm excited to see it at home! WHOO!! :thumb:

How I have missed pix and videotape of ultrasound of my daughter kicking her feet there, inside of my womb I didnt even felt, but since she loves kicking here :D

If I have a boy I would name him Benjamin cuz our last name follows full name but it is a Girl named Ashley Elizabeth

Yeah, when I was being ultrasounded, this baby was moving A LOT and I don't even feel anything. Must I be on drugs or something?! :laugh2: No no no, no drugs here. I hate drugs. My baby loves to kick and punch too. Heh.

How about Toby? I think that is a good name.

I like the name, however I need to think about how we pronounce it as deaf parents. It could be mispronounced "doopy," or something like that as "stupid." Something to think about for us. :ugh:

I like to have a simple name easy for us to pronounce since we both are profound deaf and don't like to say the name in the "wrong way" in front of strangers and cause them to look at us like we're . Feel me?

Ha ha ha... My best friend's children both have French names and we always get looks from strangers when we shout their names. :laugh2: The boy's name is Cédric, and it should be seh-dreek. They're always wondering why we are shouting seh-dreek! seh-dreek! LOL

Chel, one HUGE advantage to your child having an unusual name is that they won't be one of ten million Bens, Mikes, Jims, Johns, Lizzes, Jens, Sarahs, Katies, etc. in their classroom. They won't be Ben C...See what I mean? Heyyyyy....what about Ollie?
Why are you worried about how to pronounce the name?

Because I don't like to "embarrass" myself, since it's kinda hard to pronounce my own name! Many people thought my name is different from what my name is. It's annoying and I don't want any more of that shit. Hope you can understand what I'm coming from.

I like the name, Ollie, however it makes me think of that TV cartoon show, and I don't want to name my children after that. :ugh: But thanks for the offer.

I want unusual name too, but I don't know which yet. Oh well.

ahhhh picking out names is such a hard work! it gives me headaches! because i would want a perfect name for my kids ((which will happen LATER i mean LLAAAAATTTERRRR)) ::taking my time here:: :D

I can understand that as I am also EXTREMELY self-conscienous about my voice and the way I pronounce stuff and I am only HoH.
On the other hand...why would you be orally pronouncing it? Don't you sign? I know there are some situtions where signing isn't ideal but.......hey I just had an idea! Maybe you could name him something unusual and then just come up with an easy to pronounce nickname!!!!!!

Pronounced Toe Bee. Understandable. I've helped deaf with pronounciations before.
