Uh, you couldn't figure that out? At a place that has a 3rd shift. Called an over nighter.
Yes, I know about shift work. My son-in-law works at a steel plant that operates 24/7.

What kind of labor do you do? (I'm not asking for the name of the company.)

This case stinks. Corey should not have charged Alexander in the first place. It also makes me wonder what was wrong with the jurors. Guilty in 12 minutes?! I've been on juries, and 12 minutes is barely enough time to get situated in the jury room, take care of housekeeping rules, and pass out the ballots. That's a travesty that they could come to a decision that fast.

I believe this poor woman did not get fair treatment.

Exactly. This kind of unequal application of the law and justice needs to end.

What was the reason Corey charged the woman in the first place?

Do you know the make up of the jury?

Violence and the African-American Community

I assume you can read other than what you want to read.

So sad when people live their lives in such ignorance and confusion. That is exactly what prejudice and discrimination and racism feeds on. Ignorance and fear. Some people make sure racism and prejudice will never starve. The just keep feeding it with their never ending supply of ignorance and fear.

No, just know what the article states. Haven't tried to find the original case story. But statements from the article seem to think race was an issue in both charges and conviction. Wouldn't be unusual.

I must be on WB's "ignore list"!....:laugh2: :laugh2:...it's almost sayin'...."if ya can't take the heat, baby...then stay out of the kitchen"!....

Is there anything you are personally doing to end the violence in black communities (other than blaming it on white people?)

What kind of work? It's normal at AD for people to share their occupations.

Is there anything you are doing to end the violence in white communities? Is there anything you are doing to end the violence directed at minorities?

Evidence from the prosecution gets presented to the defense during the discovery process.

Which is not presented to the public unless you are in the room! There has already been some talk that the prosecution failed to present all of the evidence they had such as a picture of GZ head!

Maybe. But that isn't what this thread is about.
I would ask at your introduction thread but that seems to have disappeared. If you start a new intro thread, I'll ask there.

Yeah, it disappeared for a reason. People can be quite nasty. But again, this is not what this thread is about.

Public unrest? :laugh2:

And when a special prosecutor was assigned to review the evidence, she brought him back in and had him arrested. Looks like the cops were right in not believing the self defense story.

The cops didn't arrest in the first place because they believed there wasn't enough evidence!

They haven't had discovery yet. That is in May, lol.The prosecution doesn't present their evidence until then.
