Your choice. I am very pro-self defense and anti-murder, understand the difference. So many people believe what the media says about the KJV Holy Bible ... You have to read the Holy Bible for yourself.

...It's a movie based on Barbara Becnel's account of when she met with Stanley William's while writing a history on the Crips. Have you seen it?
Nope.

No and I will wait for the real video or tv program on the real trial and events leading up to the execution. History Channel or Discovery Channel or Court TV and I will not buy or watch Hollywood garbage. I want real facts so do the American people.

I am against death penatly but this time I am fed up with gangs here after they made a threatened on my son's life. This man is guilty for thousand murders by start this gang. Not just only four murders but too many.
Gangs are still running by inside prisons, only way to get rid of them by remove them from life. I know it is unchristian way for me to saying this but it is enough. Enough! I have no mercy on this man. He is responsible for thousand deaths and many more to come.

While I do not celebrate that a person is dead, it seems to me that if this man had truly been sorry for what he had done, then he would have stopped fighting the legal proceedings against him and trusted in a Heavenly judgment. Coming to grips with what one has done also means coming to grips with the consequences of those actions. God's saving a soul does not necessarily mean saving the mortal body.

Watching Tookie die was as relieving as watching a cockroach die from bug spray.

The thing is Tookie stayed Tookie throughout his prison time. He didnt reform back to Stanley. Death row inmates would try anything pretty to keep the needle away from them.

You kill someone, you pay for it with your life no matter how pretty your prison deeds gets before the day you have to pay.

Richard

Heath when you die I wonder if people will say the
same about you because there are those here that
believe Tookie is a much more worth while human
being than you are.

Well said! Prison is just a place where crooks taking breaks and learn from other crooks. Its just a breeding society inside the prison. When an inmate meets other inmates, they both know they are on their sides and open to sharing any information on how to improve the criminal activity without getting caught. Also, once a felony becomes a felony, they knew they can not improve their life because nobody wants to deal with felony. So therefore these felons don't give damn about society. No matter how hard a felon try to change their life, they might gain a very little, however they got NOTHING to lose anyway.

That is why I strongly believe HARSH punishment, including long day of hard labor where a sweat is NOT an option, but REQUIREMENT. That way, crooks won't have time to teach others new tricks in criminal world. Ofc the sentence length would be much shorter and I can almost guarantee that once a person experience hard labor, they wouldn't want to go back so they would THINK OF HARD LABOR before they act.

Heath -

How un-Christian of you for being happy that someone is dead.

Shame on you.

I concur. Christians are supposed to be pro-life...shame, shame...NO smiley face for you.

He never turned in the other guilty members.

He'd be a fool to do it, Reba. Do you think that cops snitch on each other? Nope. You'll never hear another cop turning in a bad cop...THAT, Reba, is a brotherhood (including the females) and they don't and won't testify against each other. Medical doctors are the same way...what do you think the AMA is?

I suggest you watch the movie, "Innocent Man." Tom Selleck is in it and it'll give you an idea what happens when cops try to cover their tracks. Another good flick is "SWAT," which has Samuel Jackson in it.

I am happy an evil man is dead.

How do you know he was evil? What he did supposedly was evil, you don't know his heart, so how can you say it, Heath?

1. HE NEVER APOLOGIZED DIRECTLY TO THE FAMILIES WHO ARE THE REAL VICTIMS THE 4 VICTIMS.

2. LIBERALS LOVE TO SEPERATE THE TWO BUT IN REALITY THEY BOTH GO HAND IN HAND TOGETHER.

1. Did you read the statement above? He apologized.

2. Liberals don't stay up late watching late night television watching for a man to be executed and stand before a Holy God, clap and applaud, do they? Did you get to see any blood to avenge your appetite for it, Heath?

If you feel this way, what about Jim Elliot, who was a missionary to the Aucas in Central America? One of the killers baptized his son a few years later.

Killing four people isn't enough for you? How many people does someone have to kill in cold blood to be a "mass murderer" to you?

Look at these pictures:

http://www.homestead.com/prosites-prs/tookiewilliamsvictims.html

Can you look Reba's post of the pictures and tell me if this is justice or not? Everybody knows do not murder another human being !!!!! The only time you are allowed to kill somebody is in self defense or during wartime or respecting the proper authorities and government functions that carry out justice in a correctional institution.

Murdering someone for no reason another reason is VERY UN-CHRISTIAN !!!!

This is a classic example of liberals twisting the Holy Bible to fit their agenda and hoping to let the criminals get away scot-free.

Sorry, but it's also not the Christian way to execute people for their crimes. Only the sinless people can cast the first stone and they don't exist in today's world.

It's only fit that we put the criminals, rapists and murderers in small cell rooms for the rest of their lives.

Jazzy,

Then you must not know what Luke 6:36 says.

How about Romans 12:19.

Maybe God shouldn't have mercy on you for your sins, would you like that? God owes us humans NOTHING. He sent His only begotten Son for us, not because He was bored and needed something to do.

Lastly, do you know for sure this man's heart?

OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE TOOKIE DID IT. THAT IS HOW !!!!

Knock off the caps, Heath. Did you see him do it? Do you know that a prosecutor's job is to find every defendent GUILTY, regardless of evidence? You must never have gone through the justice system for even a minor infraction, huh? It's an eye opener.

Tookie apologized only for starting the crips gang but Tookie never apologized DIRECTLY..... to the four victims of these innocent law abiding families.

I watched it because I wanted to see justice done.... the blood does not matter, the point is that the victim's families have suffered enough.

If you feel this way, what about Jim Elliot, who was a missionary to the Aucas in Central America? One of the killers baptized his son a few years later.
I do not know who Jim Elliot is but I would have to follow up on the internet what the story is before I can comment.

So, then it's okay to kill innocent civilian Iraqis that are unarmed like our US military is doing over there? It's okay to kill them to save us a dollar per gallon of gasoline and cheap oil? :bsflag:

Law enforcement has many ways of finding out the truth. The point here is they found out alots of evidence on him !!!!! I am downright angry that you are taking an evil man's side and not taking the right side of the victim's families as it should rightfully be and that is the Christian thing to do support and give comfort to victims and be swift, firm on the criminals and only if he truly has repented and said honestly he was truthfully sorry then an appropriate decision will follow!!!!!
