Well I say I have BETTER respect for cops since last night when my car finally blew its alternator right in front of 2 cops who were out there helping another motorist with his truck.

The cops not only called my daddy and a tow truck at the same time, but one of 'em was willing to stay with me for 30 mins until the tow truck and daddy came over to pick me up then haul the car to my house.

Right now I owe the cops a nice thank you note... I may have to drop it with the chief since I did not get their names before I left the parking lot.

Because you broke the law. You were just raving for the sake of rave.

I got a ticket from cops for speed and I didn't hate them for it.. I broke the law and it is my fault so I paid for it.

I drove through red light last June. A computer planted there caught me and took picture of me going through the red light.

Needless to say, I received a ticket for 340.00. Ouch!

It is a consquence of me being stupid. Thus, it is not a stupid ticket but a consquence of my own stupidity.
 
Thats not a stupid ticket. Im talking about tickets for not feeding the meter. Tickets for parking at a No Parking sign,Tickets because you had your brights on and it was an accident,Tickets for parking in fire lane. Cops park in fire lanes too ya know and theyre not issued a ticket. Its called abuse of power because they wear that badge.

It was at 3 PM. I was with my girls and as usual, they were tapping me on my shoulder to get my attention. I turned to look briefly then I looked back to see yellow light. I had no time to slam on my brakes so I went through the intersection. The camera caught me. GRRRRRR

I went to the court and they forgot to get me an interpreter. I begged the judge to waive me but he refused. So I had to pay the fines because I didnt have time to go all the way back for second court date.

You Should Contact the ACLU youre a woman right? Especialy a deaf woman ill bet theyre take your case and youll sue that judge for being discriminaing to the deaf.

Depend on how much u pay the ticket. My neice will have to pay 400 dollars fine for speeding. Anyone who got ticket will have hard time to get a good pay job because of background check.

Thats why we should get rid of social security system. Theres nothing secured about social security. Because anyone can see your files anything from educational background to your criminal background. I hope bush gets rid of social security administration and replace it with something else.

Change subject from LAPD to SS?

Are you sure SS has all kind of information on us? alike speeding tickets? check bounced? I know they do have information about health problems, I feel they invade my privacy about my health and make it harder to buy health insurance and life insurance for me. But again it is off subject.

Raven, Im not going to sue the judge. I knew I went through red light and am willing to pay the consquences. I should not have paid attention to my girls in the back of my car. SInce then, I have told the girls that they cannot do that to me again because I could get another ticket, etc. They are hearing and cannot understand that I only have one pair of eyes and how dangerous driving is.

The city had every right to ticket me because it was a safety violation. I could have rammed into other cars, etc.

Enough said.
 
If i did that to my father hed would whack me with a belt. I been whacked with a belt by my dad so many times when i was little. I know you cant whack kids with a belt anymore cause if you show a teacher your belt welps she would go to the principal and the principal would call the police and the police would arrest your dad. That law about whacking kids with a belt came taken place in 1975. Thats when i showed my doctor the belt welp he took my mother in his office and he warned her if he ever see another belt welp on my back again he would call the police. and my dad would been having fun with big bubba behind bars.

I've gotten tickets from cops myself and I DONT place the damn blame on the cops. I only place the blame on myself! Stupid ticket or not, its MY fault, not the COP's fault, period. If I feel its stupid, I can fight in court, but most of the time I just pay up the ante and take the consequences.

I have always respected cops every time they stop me or I come and ask for help. I treat cops with caution and respect they deserve because law enforcement is one of the most STRESSFUL and DANGEROUS occupations, period. Remember that a cop is under stress and must react quickly when he is out on patrol.

If I didn't blow my damn alternator in front of the cops last Monday night, I would have walked a mile or two for help in the middle of the NIGHT and that's a DANGEROUS time to be out there!
