The Trio Game

Spitfire (also the name of my future pet dragon)

You are sooo right, Bott, and it's sooo your turn!

1. Brilliantly colored

2. Vicious animal

3. Average 2.5 inches

1. Involved 5 nations

2. The Great Migration

3. Proposed by Thomas Jefferson.

Hmmmm. In Anerican history, there are at least two "Great Migrations." The one in the early 1900 prompted poor blacks to migate from the south to the big cities of the north, primarily Chicago. But that was after President Jefferson's time.

So by the clues, I'd guess the Great Migration (ending in 1843) across The Louisiana Purchase along the Oregon Trail to the Pacific Northwest.

There was another migration of a certain group......try again. :)

It's got to be Monopoly. My favorite marker is the cannon (always liked guns) and my favorite monopoies are all four railroads and Boardwalk-Park Place.

Thanks so much.

1. In mythology, the first was King Lycaon, transformed to one for serving human flesh to Zeus, the Greek god.

2. In European legend, widespread reports of these things may have been hysteria associated with extended epidemics of rabies.

3. Porphyrias Syndrome is a disease and condiion strongly suggesting cravings of these things, the cure for which includes transfusions and ingestion of blood.

Werewolf?

That's close, Byrdie. The second and third clues describe the vampirism that Dracula had. But only werewolves are lycanthropes named after King Lycaon. By the way, your clue "involved five nations" in the Trail of Tears puzzle was terrific. I slapped my head for missing that one.

Werewolf?

That's the mythical creature (which really isn't so much myth, given modern medical research).

Your turn, Botti.
