hello how's everybody??

Been working "temporarily" since end of Aug, was meant to be for three weeks, now approaching 6th/7th week. Working 40 hours a week(I'v excluded the breaks, I am at work 45 hours)

But in this economy it could be a good thing until your employer decides to let you go for whatever reason. Hang in there!
 
I am home after being out of town for the weekend. Had a good time at the deaf social. Learned more ASL and got some flashcards. Also, got a videotext CD to a workbook I had. All in all, a good weekend. I will be doing it again, either November or December. We may try every other month.
 
So glad to be at home! Son had a great time rollerskating for the first time in his life at the birthday party. For some reason, I was not really into it...wanted to be at home, not socializing but it was a nice bday party.

believe me.. I don't really like sociailizing with people that i don't know that well if a friend invited me to a really big party then I rather not go cuz i wud be really nervous :P I prefer small parties and no drama involved.. :P then I'm good to go :D

the party was hosted by one of my closest friends and my other close friend was there as well. It was small but I just wasnt in the mood to socialize with them or anyone else. I just wanted to chill at home today.

I know that feeling all too well. Some days I just want to say screw it, I want a 'me' day. These days creep up most especially in the spring when there's just too much going on. Much more than I care for.

damn I'm up since 12:30am in the morning and watching t.v it seems really sad that i don't have much of a life to worry about anymore anyway have a good monday to all of you :P

make it once a week. and make it a religion. :)

but I know having a kid makes this difficult but just switch the job with your hubby. hubby gets his "me-day" on this day and you get the "me-day" on that day.

That's what I do...every other weekend, work 20 plus hours at my 2nd job and then the other weekends, work only 6 hours and have a relaxing Sunday. It just happened that my friend had a bday party for her son yesterday. I havent had a relaxing Sunday in over 4 weeks. Probably why I was so not into the party yesterday but at least my son had fun at his first attempt at rollerskating. The next Sunday I am off is Halloween. GRRR!

My friend who recently got married is in QLD with his new wife on honeymooon. He, in the last two days, been MMSing me with a picture of starbucks White chocolate mocha to me - he knew that it makes me jealous because there is no starbucks in Canberra.

QLD = Queensland. Sorry, should've expanded that earlier.

Yeah, it closed down due to GFC in 2008, damn HQ in Seattle decided that Canberra was one of the 600 stores to close down despite other cities still have them! The closest is in Sydney :(
 
i was looking at stock car on the street, was thinking if i buy it and restore the stock car...it is worth it to re-sell?
