Oh yea, it been awhile. I moved twice between August and December. It wasnt enjoyable. I am enjoyin small christmas by myself this year. i am not stressful anymore and gone crazy and everything.

I just got back from Xmas shopping. Less crowds and traffic. (Thank goodness!!!) I am finished shopping. (I purchased a gift certificate card for my sister and her husband. Finally, finally, finally!!!)

I have gone out and finished my Christmas shopping today. Got all of the stocking stuffers. Money was tight so we hit the Dollar store. Most was spent on the kids (2 teens). Other than that the stockings will have the usual candy, Florida tangerine and apple. No nuts this year as my nutcrackers are still packed in the garage. :aw: Had to put together a new stocking this year. MIL has never in her 74 years had a Christmas Stocking, so she's got one now. I am planning on making her a special one for next year.

Oh, sorry to hear. If memory serves, you work for the Feds; would you be able to transfer when the coast is clear?

Yes I do work for the Feds..lol sounds funny when I say that..:P Unfortunately, my boss tells me that because I do not hold a specialized position, my job isn't transferable.:roll: In other words, I'll have to find another job.

Aww that's sweet of you to do that for your MIL.

We went to 5 Below for stocking stuffers since the Dollar Tree didnt have as many options. Do you have a 5 below. I also went to the thrift stores looking for some toys in good condition for my son.

Gotta do what we gotta do with shitty finances. All I just keep reminding myself that I still have a job at least.
