Opps! I am soooo uncool. My teen has the same thing. He wants the phone but the monthly service is too expensive.

Oh you speak of the iPhone! Yeah, that little gadget is too pricy for me at this point in time. And i'll throw in my two cents and say that no teenager ought to have one. That's a toy for us grown folks, lol.

Enjoy your music and podcasts! :cool2:

I had a wonderful morning. I saw BEAUTIFUL landscape view as I drove to Animal Shelter to take care of 14 cats. Green land, autumn color trees, morning sun, plus misty fog! Couldn't get better than that! Now I'm back home to clean up the bedroom and bathroom and everything else that are needed to be done, preparing for my mother's visit for a week.

starting new job

It is 8:00 am and dark with a skiff of snow here. Getting ready to start my new job getting drug tested and filling out paperwork. This company does hair drug testing now. Something different I guess those urinalysis tricks were actually working. Now we have more testing. I lost both of my good hearing aids somehow while I was off o the pain over 6,000 dollars gone and now I wil be starting new job with an old one that doesn't work so good so I can buy new ones... smiles... it is always something. I was really liking those digitals.

Day 3

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nI2vh5mjyk]YouTube - Oct 25, 09 Update: 3:45 pm on Fire from Refinery Explosion in Puerto Rico[/ame]

Day 4...another beautiful day and sadly Puerto Rico were named the biggest blaze in the US-owned island's history. Firefighters in Puerto Rico battling to extinguish the biggest 2 days blaze.

inspirabull, the hair test detects drug use further back in time than urine tests. That may be why they use it.

Best of luck at your new job! :D

I'm very sleepy, it's just gone 6pm and I spent the afternoon napping. Got a busy week so I wish I could have done more today.

Daystarnite, is that your job? I'd love to do something like that!

Maybe it's time to have your vision checked?

The high school sent home a letter about the H1N1 virus announcing that it has been confirmed that people in the school have had it... so everyone is freaking out.

Seen some awesome wildlife out here in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. Moose and big horn sheep nice stuff.

Hey thanks Sallylou, it is nice to go back to work but kinda hard to get excited about being up in the Arctic again. It does have beauty of itis own that I love but it is also like being beaten up awhile. Lots and lots of energy output just to accomplish the normal routines let alone work. I would rather be in Colorado at Red Feather Lakes anyday. Yah the hair test they took little swatches of hair about 2 1/2" long from around the back of my head. They said it goes back at least 3 months. Which seems actually criminal to me that something I might have done 3 months ago and would have zero effect on my present mind could get me fired before I even do any work. In fact I am thinking of consulting an attorney about it because it seems so wrong. Where do the rights of a company stop at invading my personal space and history?
On every level of my being I believe that they have gone too far.
