Wow I'm so full...because of damn thanksgiving! I'm the first one who finished foods from thanksgiving lol. :D:giggle: FYI, I'm fast eater.

Sure is quiet in around here on AD and the interesting thing is that there are 298 individuals that are (viewing) on here and no one is posting.....

Im posting but also psuedo-working on my paper. (actually Im looking up the various videos of Savage Garden and playing mum to my daughter.) Tomorrow there's a 100 challenging things a girl could do and none of them involve black friday.

so Hear Again - did you get a chance to play with keyboard and mouse at the store?

Its bloody raining (storm), its almost 4:30pm, way past my 'home time' and I am at work! Stuck at work, due to the rain and heavy traffic, blast! :mad2: I am facing a very boring friday night, :(

American Eagle.com is irritating the hell out of me. Appearently their server got hacked about the time I was to make a purchase for some items using my moms credit card. Thankfully I had not entered it yet when Firefox notified me that it had a bogus certificate and now AE.com is down completely stating it is now upgrading the site. I assume the IT guys are working on getting the server back under their control and AE.com has offered a 20% discount on my next purchase as a consolation prize as today was the one day they were offering 25% discounts on all orders as well as free shipping.

wow very lucky that you didn't enter your info into server when it got hacked!

The farthest I got was entering the address.

AE.com - EPIC FAIL.

yes indeed. I will check the site tomorrow afternoon and see what theyve conjured up. Im sure AE.com will probably send an email.

I never got to the order confirmation page and I never entered my mom's credit card information so Im glad that firefox caught it sooner.

As bad as this sounds, Im still kind of irritated though as I was getting my daughter some of her Christmas stuff as I wanted to try some of their AE77 children's line to see if it is as good as their adult lines, meaning is it of the same comfort and quality as the AE clothing I have. Oh well there are worse things to have happened in the last week.

for now - i'm shopping online to look for Dell laptop along with Black Friday discount. I'm also looking around for nice but cheap and simple point-and-shoot digital camera. I'm too dumb to configure with ISO/Apecture/etc... I just want a simple point-and-shoot with zooming feature for less than $200.

Anybody can recommend me one? My dad recommended Panasonic Lumix FX37

Id recommend Canon and they offer good P&S for under $200. Though Im not familiar with point and shoots (Im actually considering a fully manual Canon DSLR purchase in late 2009) Ive never owned a Panasonic point and shoot so Im not sure how they hold up. The last point and shoot I bought was a Pentax Optio S30. It currently serves as a backup to my Sony DSC-H7.

I do know of one lady that purchased a 9 megapixel Sony- DSC H9 only to use nothing but the Auto feature despite the plethora of settings she could use including a fully manual mode. I shook my head in disbelief. She would have been much better off saving her money with a point and shoot. I guess she needed to show off her 'big barrel' camera as a sign of wealth. I shoot in manual 80% of the time now unless Im in a setting where I really don't have the time to change the adjustments for every 3 or 4 shots due to the constant and rapidly changing light conditions. In my mind I want as little post-production as possible so the photo I get is as real as they get. However occassionally I'll get into a creative streak and want to bring some extra pop to a certain series for an online album. I currently have some wedding photos that need some final editing then they will be posted in an online album and possibly for purchase by the bride and groom.

grazie :ty: I'll have to compare and find good price.... hell - i wouldn't mind with one of those disposable camera - digital version but I don't want to look that poor :laugh2:

watch out for crazy mobs! btw - I think CompUSA is no longer in business. It closed up its stores a short while ago.
