oh god.... i'm in pain.... my neck's sored (feels like a bad whiplash).... both of my shoulders... my ass.... my knee.... my wrists..... but i will be snowboarding again after i heal up :cool2:

I told you to be careful!:P

Took a nasty spill, did you?

yup. one very bad nasty spill which is how I got a very sored neck because i was going downhill bit too fast and i fell forward.... my head hit the ground (thanks god it's snow, not ice) and tumbled a few... I was stunned but ok. I said - "oh yea...... i'm gonna definitely feel it tomorrow morning"

:cool2:

no don't be sad. learning sport is never easy and it's always expected to be injured/hurt from it. that's the only way to learn it and in the end - it's very rewarding! :cool2:

poor jiro. :( i know exactly how you feel right now. i felt the same way when i started skiing at age 17. my entire body felt as if it had been run over by a truck. (now that i think about it, i felt the same way after my second ci surgery. NOT fun. :()

that's true! you have a great attitude, jiro! :D

I might be going snowboarding next weekend..i've never been before. Jiro: I need some pointers! :hmm:

pointers? hmmm..... well obviously - it's expected that you're going to fall many times so I highly suggest you to wear protective gears with padding for your ass and knees. You can use knee pads for volleyball players or rollerblade (it's inexpensive). You definitely should get ass pad (inexpensive as well). You might want to get wrist guards & helmet as well.

First time is always rough... I lasted 1 hour and i was done for that day. My friend who came with us yesterday did same. It was her first time and she was done after 1 try.... so you'll want to wear protective gear so that you won't be done after 1st try :cool2:

for yesterday - i wore my pants designed for motorcycle (it has pads for my knees, ass, and shins) so imagine how much more pain i would be if i didn't wear it.
