Sorry to look too stupid. When we have tornados they have warning on TV to go to basement. It is not the same for hurricanes?

Hanna is not a hurricane anymore..she is a tropical storm and really weakening fast. There was a tornado warning in the Ocean City, MD area earlier but that is like 200 miles from me. We were under a tropical storm warning all morning but no need to stay in the basement cuz the winds werent that strong. If it was a Cat 2 or higher hurricane, then yea, we would have to evacuate. I endured Hurricane Isabel in 2003 which was a Cat 1 Hurricane when it hit the DC area...compared to Isabel, Hanna is calm! Isabel was brutal and scary.

Yeah When Gustav came thru here it was going the opposite direction. Spinning slowly toward north. Usually it would go from West to East. This time it came from East hence why lot of trees and electricity poles were down. i never saw that before in my life. it was very interesting to experience it.

Believe it or not, November is not the only month that we have meteor showers. There are few different meteor showers that come from different constellations at different times during the year.

2008 Meteor Showers
The next meteor shower is the Orionids on October 21, 2008.

Quadrantids January .
Lyrids night of April
Eta Aquarids May
Perseids August
Orionids October
Leonids November
Geminids December


The next one would be Orionids which will come up next month- October 21 during the morning. In November- Leonids peaked on the morning of 17th.
and the last one of 2008 is Geminids which will peaks during the evening on December 13.

Nothing much. I had been gone out of town this morning for picnic then go to our cousin's house for baby's 1st birthday party. I have a good time. I'm drinking and relax.

I got back from Sydney and am tired
 
Each you feel is totally tear apart and numb because you are not able to complete something that you truly want to gain your goal & dream... it's really frustrated when you are work alone but it will take you so longer a time to finish your wantness... =/
 
i stay home and will going wm this afternoon n get few foods.. smiles..
 
Heh, I might as well join since I had no breakfast for ages, hehehe. Actually I don't really eat alot a day. Just a morning coffee until the next day. Trying to know how it feels like to survive in the wild.
 
Watching football and doing my social studies lesson plan for class tmw. Such a georgous day out today..Later, I will take the dog for a walk. :)
 
I'm at university as first class lecture will starts in 40 mins.

The lecture will be on "The role of RSPCA".
