The Exorcism of Emily Rose

We rented it last night. We both thought it was excellent. It’s a very intelligently done movie, but it scares the shit out of you at the same time. It’s loosely based on true events, but it deviates so far from what actually happened that you can consider it a work of fiction.

While I watch that movie and didnt scare me of shit! .. i just staring as focus till end lol lol .. glad didnt scare me like jump or jump heart or else .. jsut stay still and watch the whole lol lol :lol:

can you imagine that it was actually 6 demons that invaded her body? :shock:
 
I saw this movie - it is scary & really good! Especially because it is based on a true story. I cant find much about the real story on the internet though.
 
Looks like we'll watch this sometime later today before the actual New Year's eve celebration kicks in.... ;)

I loved the scene in which the priest is on the witness stand explaining to his attorney the significance of 3:00 AM. That one sent chills down my spine. :Ohno: If the same thing ever happened to me as happened to the attorney, I would definitely become a firm believer!
 
I wasn't happy the next day after watching this movie when I woke up at 2:44 am. I thought that was a little too close to 3 am!

Now I'm going to have to do some research online and see if that 3 am thing is supposed to be true.
 
I was wondering why 6 demons? Was it because she been messing around with dark side? I'm just too curious why it happened to her? :dunno:
 
Cheri, it was because the script writer knows you can't count higher than 6, dat's why!

Looks like I will have to watch this when its released over here.

Read about her in Time magazine or something. They still have excorists.

I love to watch true horror stories in the morning/afternoon to help me to cope otherwise I will get a nightmare soon after watching it at bedtime!! :ugh2:

It's already on DVD, RR and I rent it and we just watched it earlier!!

I can't believe it's a true story, it's scare the heck out of me....

If I were you, I would watch it with someone...

They wanted her, and she wasn't messing with the dark side, she happen to be there at the wrong time....She grew up as being a good girl and her family is catholic, and this happened when she was away in College living in a dorm...

This could happen to ANYONE ....
