Tell us something about yourself?

I have a deaf great Dane, a black cat, a gray tabby, and two gray and white siamese/russian blue mixes.
I'm a geek and plan to spend a full day watching Tron with one of my best friends when he comes to visit!

I'm a grocery monkey....I take money and give people food!

Oh also I'm Transgendered, hearing, and going to school for interpretation in the fall. I also am trying to learn BSL in conjunction with ASL. ......I like BSL better.
 
I am overweight and deaf. I am also slowly losing my sight. I walk with either a cane in the house or a rollator outside the house. I love cats (we have 2) and I love dogs.

I used to work doing data entry and I have a things for numbers. Also, I am weird in the fact that I love to do filing. I also used to do customer service with the Better Business Bureau and a few Federal Saving Banks and Federal Savings & Loans, before I got married.

I am an insecure person and feel that stems from issues I had growing up. I also have comprehension problems.
 
Well, I'm deaf and my left ear is lower than my right ear (blame it on the weight of my HA) and I have 24 pack belly where I can't see my toes, I have couple of missing teeth and my lower teeth tend to be little darker than my upper teeth... and for some reason hundreds of flies love to follow me around, maybe because of my bad hygiene..oh I dunno... and got couple of fungus on my toes... other than that.... I think I'm stupid...not intelligent.. stupid yah know?? Meh...I make decent living..

I might have a video. I remember at the time I was into bullriding I was working construction 14-16 hour days. Most of it was heavy lifting.

I am an avid reader and would rather read than watch TV or play games hence my reason for being on AD a lot. I was a fast pitching softball player all of my life and even got a full ride college scholarship as a pitcher after high school. I have big and muscular arms from all those years of playing softball and being on the swim team for several years and now they are becoming flabby. :lol:

I love interior designing and am thinking of maybe a career change to become a window dresser in a few years. I love to decorate my house and wish I had the money to make the interior elaborate.
 
I listen to hardcore trance - the good stuff from 1996-1999. After that it just went downhill. I'm also a rabid fan of Darren Hayes and Manchester United.
 
Another thing I remembered is that nearly my whole life, dogs have always loved me (even strange dogs). I can remember visiting some folks during a friend's family get together years ago. I was sitting outside when a small dog came out of nowhere, whimpered, then jumped up on my lap and fell asleep. My friend's grandfather and everyone else there was amazed. I didn't understand why (this was normal for me).

He said they had rescued that dog from an abusive owner and the dog would not go near anyone except the grandpa. It was the first time they had ever seen the dog go near anyone, especially someone the dog had never seen before.

I love to read. It's one of my passions. I get lost inside of those magical words and at times I want to cry cause I live HERE. I like to cultivate myself spiritually but I have two major struggles that again leave me in tears. If you've read this far you should know I'm emotional lol. I like writing, usually the main characters are me. I daydream A LOT. I know English, Spanish, currently learning ASL, Speak and understand some Italian thanks to helping my sis practice and can read Portuguese ;D. Languages fascinate me. Last but not least, I would love to leave everything and just explore the world.
 
I did a lot of hitch hiking as a teenager. 99.99% of the people I met were cool. The 0.01% were weird.
 
like a lot of ADers here, I like dogs and cats. I have 2 of each. I like reading strange books or do unusual study topics in the university, and have started to learn to grow plants/veges this summer. I was good at pencil drawing and shall get back into it after I finished study (Which will be for a long while now). I like movies and I like pinball games. I hope to restore or acquire a "Twilight Zone" pinball game machine in some time in the future. Lastly, I like New Zealand Sauvingon Blanc,and I like whiskys too.
 
What I enjoy the most is reading and writing. I was born in Havana. Before two years of age my family fled Castro's dictatorship. This May is marked as our 41st years living down here in Miami, Florida. When I young music was my life - rock music. I was a top notch bass guitar player. Those days are long gone but the memories are still fresh in my mind. I had a ball as a youth. Lived life to the fullest,

Today I am disabled with Bipolar Disorder so I am limited (a lot - my illness is on the real bad side) because of my Bipolar Disorder. I have a college degree, I could communicate in three language. I am single (who wants a Bipolar partner girls?? I thought not). My dad died last year. I have an older brother. All my friends are married with kids so I spend little time with them.

I'm biggest fan of Anne Rice novels, have a dirty sense of humor, can't live without unsweetened Iced Tea drinks, have this huge crush on Trent Reznor...nah, not really, after all he's already married and has a baby. LOL
