Here's a diagnosis for you: both of you are insane for engaging in this discussion!

1. Jillio, just the idea that you would challenge someone to post medical documentation online and question her about medical activity ... truly out of bounds. And posting a public BP dx is not just unethical but incompetent in the extreme. You might as well have just put up your own picture alongside your post next to "Narcissistic Personality," Ms "Bingo!" Go back to analyzing avatars and screennames.

2. FJ, what the hell? Just back away from this horrible self-promoting person now.

Both of you, honestly -- this is just so wrong.

In all likeness - who are YOU to judge who's right or wrong. You don't even have the creds to decide. Maybe your researcher is a noob adn jillio's right and you wouldnt know it because you simply arent educated in the area.

So this "i am right you are wrong" thing you have going... Again, like everything else you spew, comical.

I was not intending to discredit her, simple show her that it is impossible to dx someone from posts on a message board. I was HOPING that she would then stop insisting on labeling other people's mental heath and imply that she knows better than them because of her credentials. It is inappropriate for ANY professional to do that.

It's quite obvious that you have no clue on how things work...

In my experience interpreting - In mental health situations they have nurses that takes care of clients in the ward, and whenever things happen they put the info in the logs. The doctors come in and read the logs, they almost never see the client one on one, maybe once every 3 days, sometimes more, sometimes much less...

Similar to reading things on a message board, but more information on a message board.

Just saying............

(dont forget, a shrink here probably has more interaction with you than your regular shrink... something to think about)

:bsflag: Don't think you'd ever find an ethical professional in the field who would back this particular diagnosis-in-a-can-online approach, esp. given the history between these two. I think both pushed and were pushed to do things neither should have done here. I hate to see yet another thread go boom, but I sure wish the mods would remove at least this section of the thread for the sake of both parties.

What's BS?

That should have be used on your friend here. She said it was "impossible to make a dx online" I was pointing out how things work... If your friend keeps the attitude up here, i'm here to keep her in check. If she chills, i'm gonna chill, but otherwise..... I'd hate to associate you with her...

You think it is ethical to diagnosis someone with a mental illness based on solely on their posts on a message board? Really? :hmm:

So, why the baiting in the first place?

Leave the phycholigical assessments for us, deafies. We are the ones who have all anti-CI issues so we need our heads examined. Pls save the diagnosis for us who really need it.

I'd be glad to be associated with FJ, just as I would with you. That doesn't mean I agree with everything either of you say -- or the way you say it. And I know I've said things or approached them in ways that would make you crazy, too, I'm no angel either.

The crazy alignment of camps on this forum is really such a pain in the butt, when in fact we all have so much more in common than in opposition.
