Oh hallelujah! this is the promise that we have from our Shepherd, He has given us eternal life and we shall not perish! Oh what a great salvation! And moreover will keep us from falling; He will make us stand!

Oh Lord Jesus! We love You for such a life given to us.
Strengthen everyone Lord. Draw everyone to Yourself and we will run after You O Lord Jesus. Thank You for loving us with eternal love.Lord Jesus! We say we love You. We love You because You O Lord first love us! And this is the Love that restrain us.Oh dear Lord Jesus, keep all of us in Your marvelous love and light. And put Your enemy to shame. Thank You, Lord Jesus Christ, Amen

I believe Momoftwo is a sweet lady who wants to do the right thing. She just doesn't yet have a good understanding of the Scriptures. Unfortunately, if she doesn't accept the Scriptures as God's word, then she will always be confused and misled. It is a struggle between her and Holy Spirit conviction. She will have to come to a point where she will surrender to the Spirit and trust God's Word. Then, He will open up her understanding. God can do that thru Momoftwo's reading, and also thru putting her in touch with patient, mature Christians who can help her understand.

Momoftwo, I see that you can't post now but I hope you are still reading these posts.

I'm sorry if I seemed harsh to you. I didn't mean to be. I try to be clear and sometimes that is too blunt. You are a sensitive person, and I should have been more gentle.

I assume u believe u know all answer to this bible? Problem with it, it is your own religion and her religion is different. U think ur religion is right way and hers is wrong way. She knows and understand God in different language as u knows and understand God in your own language. I for one will never be a conservative Christian for one I do not believe in something their belief which it has nothing to do with bible, it has to do with their way of life treating others. For example my brother in law's father was a pastor and is no longer because of his sins, anyway he jugdged his son for being a gay and judged my niece who just got pregnant out of wedlock. I do not see any LOVE of his toward to his gay son and pregnant granddaughter which Jesus Christ command us to do this. I have seen so many christians hurt us because of not understand what is Love is real all about. Too much words of bible but not enough express Love among us.

Excellant reminder.

God's Word is holy and true. Jesus never backed away from holiness and truth. However, Jesus also gave us His example that some His holiness and truth must be motivated by love, and expressed with love.

I Corinthians 13

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.


"Charity" is another word meaning "love" for other people.

Love is not a substitute for speaking the truth but it is the reason for speaking the truth, and the way for expressing it. Sometimes the truth is so painful that it hurts, even when given in a loving way.

For example, even if the most kindly, loving doctor tells a patient that he has a fatal disease in a gentle way, the news still hurts.
