I will do my best to keep everyone posted. I do have a bit of an update:

The surgeon called today, and I have an appt with him for tomorrow at 2pm. I don't know what is going to happen from there, so please keep me in your thoughts/prayers.

I'm SO hoping I can have surgery. If so, this could all be a memory in just two months. I know! Long time, but for me, it's not that long considering how sick I was last year, and it lasted 8 mos .

If I'm not able to post, I will have someone post for me. It's the best I can do. I may be put on total bedrest, and may not be able to post. I've been on partial bedrest for the past couple of days.

Oceanbreeze has asked me to post this:

She went to see her surgeon today and the situation with her sore turned out to be complicated. They are not so sure what to do, since they cannot use any more muscles to do another muscle flap. So for now, they want her to pack the wound and have an MRI in about 2-3 weeks and then go from there and see what they can do about it then.

She asked me to post this because she is still processing this and does not feel like being on AD today. She would appreciate the good thoughts, prayers, etc.

HI everyone!

I want to thank Lucia for updating you all today. When I came home from the Dr's, I just didn't feel like being online.

The news I received really hit me hard. I still don't understand all that I was told, but for the time being, I'm OK. The sore is not infected, and we're going to take steps to keep it infection free. In two or three weeks, I'm going to have an MRI that will hopefully help the doctor figure out what he's going to do.
I CANNOT have traditional surgery. There's not enough muscle to take for another muscle flap. It's been determined that that's not going to prevent what's happening, anyway, so we need to come up with another solution.

I really need everyone's prayers!
