While I was reading this, I see it no difference than the death penatly. That woman shouldn't have beaten that man, she should have just call the police, but I guess people get too emotion to ask for help.

Actually, I DO think this woman needs to face the consequences for what she did. My post regarding third offenders was separate and off topic, sorry. Still can't wait till midnight, though, lol....

Actually I am against what she had done, what I mean about the death penatly is that her action was just like a death penatly.

She did not kill the man, so that's not even close to the death penalty.

And if you have kids, You would understand the position this woman was in.
 
This woman should not have attacked this guy because she has to think of her daughter.. now her daughter has no mother, and she's sitting in jail for an indefinite period of time. Sorry, it was a stupid thing to do because of that.

Now, I thought this sex offender would have been court ordered to stay away from kids since he has proven to be a danger to them. Why would he chat them up for? Moron.

Ohh really, that woman did very wrong, she just go out and hitting that man with bat, then went to jail and lost her daughter which are big mess. That man did not hurt her daughter, not one in the article, only talk to her. If I were the mother, I would tell him to stay away from my daughter and ensure my daughter know what she is doing to stay safe away from that man and if he continues harrass us, then I will just call the police.

That's the right way.

No that's not what I mean, I mean that woman who beating up the man was acting like she was doing the death penatly against that man, as far as I am against the death penatly, I have alittle ingorant against the death penatly or any punishment that was harmfully and that woman just found out that man was a molester, then she decide to hurt that man who was completely stranger to her and did no harm to her nor her daughter, it's just so similar to death penatly or any punishment that was harmfully like the governments did.

:gpost: I agree it was stupid thing to do, we can't go around beating people up with baseball bats just because they're sex offenders. I think she's very lucky because he could have killed her in self defense..She should have just grab her daughter and call the police immediately..

I don't know. Nobody likes to think of themselves as capable of doing harm to someone. I also think the woman is legally culpable for what she has done, but I don't know many people who want a sex offender around them.

Thanks..that was the point of my question. I wouldnt plan on attacking a sex offender but if I see one talking to my daughter, I really dont know how I would react or what I would do. I cant promise that I wont take the law in my own hands. I dont want to but that mother bear instinct is very very powerful.

Yes I second that.

It´s parent´s job to teach the children to not talk to strangers, etc. It´s not okay to teach a child to know that it´s okay to hit former sex offender unless self-defense.
