Sarah Palin had one night stand with former college basketball star Glen Rice?

Christians still sin and I'm skeptical about Christians being better than others in morals and behaviors if the likes of Republicans and the Tea partiers are any example to judge by.

I've always thought asking Jesus to excuse your sins is a way of avoiding any responsibly for the consequences of your actions. Perhaps it's time to stop dicussing this in a religious context as we aren't allowed to discuss that.

For the record, I don't think she did anything wrong though she should have thought about the consequences of what she did.

The point of asking Jesus for forgiveness is to be forgiven and not to do it anymore. People who continue doing those actions, completely take advantage of God's grace.
Oh, is talking about religion forbidden on this site?

for politicians? nope!

Please do not confuse politicians with "regular folks". Don't be naive.

So, they aren't regular people? So they come from some other planet or are some other species? Do they bleed yellow or purple blood? They have the same bodily functions as everyone else, so they are regular folks. Is that what you're saying? Stop trying to discredit or degrade me.

I guess beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.

I might want to warn you that you are about to get into a discussion of what Black men fatasize about with someone that no doubt knows a bit more about it than you.;)

And, just because someone dates a 300 pound woman doesn't mean, in any way, shape or form, that is also what he fantisizes about!:giggle:

OK... warn me???? Are the Surgeon General now? lol So are you saying you have experience dating a 300 pound white woman? Wow Jillio, you really are wild! lol

Again - you're confusing my parents with Sarah Palin. My parents are not politicians nor pushing for agenda that they believe is right for all. Sarah Palin is doing that and she is a failure.

Sarah Palin pushed for Abstinence-only Program... how's that coming?
Sarah Palin preached about "good ole' conservative Christian value"... how's that coming?

I don't need to answer your question because this is about Sarah Palin dictating everything for us... my parents are not pushing their belief into anybody else. You are deeply confusing yourself and you must be very naive to believe that politicians are just like us regular folks.

Im not confused. I know that your parents aren't Palin, unless you have something to share? I think its so funny that you won't answer the question. What do you have to hide Jiro?.... You can tell little ol' me. :) Obama keeps imposing things on us but I don't see you having a problem with it. Law makers impose ideas on us but why do I have to accept it? Just because someone imposes something doesn't make it law. She has an idea but will it go through, most likely not. People have to want/ choose to be abstinent. Since you don't think her "law" is good or fair, was it good or fair for whites to impose segregation on blacks? I bet you would say yes.

that's all? She's just pretty? What about her political and moral belief? Is it pretty too?

As far as political and moral beliefs, her heart is in the right place. I just don't believe in making people do what I want. The way she's going about things is off. God gives all of us a choice. Just like abstinance thing. I don't believe anyone should tell me i'm wrong for not participating in sex or whatever, and I don't tell anyone they're wrong for doing so. I also don't judge another for living that lifestyle. History has shown that when people are trapped and told what they can't do, they continue to and do it even more. Prohibition was a great example of it. Both Palin and I are Christians, but she is religious. Religious people have a disconnected way of thinking. They believe that they are better or infallible; I don't. I also don't think lowly of others like religious people do. So, don't get those two mixed up. Honestly, I think Palin is a cool chick. I don't hate or dislike her; just like Obama. I'm not a fan but I respect him.

The lack of reading comprehension astounds me.:laugh2:

Logical fallacy not addressed.
The powers that be find certain groups convenient scape goats. When there is in-fighting, they can avoid addressing the real issues, like outsourcing, corporations who don't pay taxes, structural economic problems, etc.
In fact, while you were blaming "illegals" here, the Federal Reserve agreed to bail out European banks without issuing a press release. Media buried the story in the business pages. Did you know that? Don't take the bait and be distracted. This will effect us all.

***off topic***

Did you happen to read the quotes from the EU directed at Timmy today......They were a tad unimpressed

nope. they aren't regular folks who share same personal issues that we all have. They are elitists. Debts? Medical bills? Discrimination? They've never heard of it!!!

Feel free to check many political threads. You'll find dozens of criticisms that I made for Obama. I voted for Obama even though I'm not a fan of him. I was very critical of his background and action but it was better than McCain-Palin. Originally I was going to vote for McCain but with Palin on board... sorry good bye!

lol! I'm Korean by the way. Last time I checked... my skin's yellow :)

But.... Palin is telling us what is right and wrong... such as Abstinence-only program.

There's not a single thing in your belief that Sarah Palin shares. I think she's a serious danger to American belief and its progression. I don't see anything cool about Palin. That's the power of Palin's and GOP's "brand-marketing" campaigns during Presidential campaign trail. It's actually scary how easy it is for them to make you believe what they want you to believe.

Throw in some "cool catchy lines".... create some photo ops of Palin holding a hunter rifle and riding in ATV... organize some press tour at her Alaskan house... What you get? An invented public perception of Sarah Palin with all these "American wild west" allure.

And guess what? She's just a hypocrite elitist just like all politicians who squandered GOP's money on expensive clothes and personal trips, abused her official power to fix some mess with police, etc.

There shouldn't be a difference. Palin is human just like everyone else. Just because the job is different, doesn't mean rules are different. It doesn't matter what your parent aren't doing or doing. Your parent did preach to someone about what they shouldn't be doing. Im pretty sure you were brought up with some kind of rules/ laws to follow. Or, you must be one of those people that never had boundries or rules in your household. That's why you don't get it. You didn't answer my question: DO YOU DO THINGS/ OR HAVE YOU EVER DONE THINGS THAT YOUR PARENTS HAVE TAUGHT YOU NOT TO DO? Simple question; ANSWER IT! You don't want to because then you will admit that you're wrong. I hate it when people argue around the main point so they won't appear wrong.

You are relative new on AD, so I'll educate you (at least bring you up to speed).
The reason you don't get a direct answer to your question/request is the world famous DEFLECT. This has been brought up several times in the past that a certain poster is famous for using this artifice.

Well said, Jiro. And it brings to mind a question...why is it that some seem to assume that every person behind that computer screen is lily white?:giggle: Big mistake made by many.

Yes, you have every right to expect privacy. That is what is wrong with this country and world (among other things). Your job is to speak about the issues, not about what's going on in your life. People need to stop all the "hero worship/ star worship" and leave people's private lives alone; stop being so nosey. I guess since you have that: "It goes with the territory" logic, every police officer, fireman, banker, even the every day people who get randomly interviewed by news casters while they are carrying on with their lives, etc should have their personal past exposed. Like, if they stole a candy bar when they were 5; or played with matches when they were 7; or took/ stole money from their parents or someone else at the age of 10; or spent any amount of time in a juvenile detention center; possibly something worse. By that logic, all the info on their lives including their past should be made public. These people are suppose to protect our neighborhoods, have something to do with politics, and are held in high regard so I should know about these things. Is that fair for a person that was randomly stopped while getting coffee, and asked their opinion on some random topic? NO! Its not. Also, if we continue with that logic, we should know every single purchase a cop, fireman, etc makes; we pay their salaries so we should be aware of how they spend OUR money. Sounds crazy doesn't it? Now, you need to think twice before you use that "Its comes with the territory" argument. I bet you wouldn't like it if it were you.

If you actually knew anything about football, you would know that tackling is apart of the defensive job. You have to keep the other team from scoring and tackling is apart of the job that a football player signs up for. So, that argument is invalid.
I am not saying I agree with the way they are treated. I am saying they cannot reasonably expect privacy.

As for football, when a defensive player intercepts or picks up a fumble, they rarely score; and they are not usually crafty runners that get the most yards possible before diving out of bounds. You can figure the rest out.

nope. they aren't regular folks who share same personal issues that we all have. They are elitists. Debts? Medical bills? Discrimination? They've never heard of it!!!

Thank you. I've asked what the difference was before but you just kept saying they we are not the same. Fine, so why are they controlling everything? Money. It talks and gets you places. People without it don't matter. We are continuously robbed so they can prosper. What's the solution?

I'll definitely check them out. You are very interesting. ummm... Will I be followed by the fbi for reading your writings? :hmm: lol

lol! I'm Korean by the way. Last time I checked... my skin's yellow :)
I knew you were Asian. Anything else would have surprised me. Answer the question! lol kidding.

But.... Palin is telling us what is right and wrong... such as Abstinence-only program.

Fine, but has that passed? It doesn't matter what she wants. I seriously doubt it will go any further, so don't worry about it. Your getting upset over nothing.

There's not a single thing in your belief that Sarah Palin shares. I think she's a serious danger to American belief and its progression. I don't see anything cool about Palin.
Honestly, I find everyone interesting or "cool." Im more interested in how she or anyone arrives at their conclusions. I just have a weird curiousity when it comes to the mind process. You might think Im dumb but it fascinates me. I care more about the components that make up an atom or dna then the actual element.

That's the power of Palin's and GOP's "brand-marketing" campaigns during Presidential campaign trail. It's actually scary how easy it is for them to make you believe what they want you to believe.

What exactly do I believe about her? Is it because I don't believe she slept with that man or her whole image. I just like to think the best of a person, even you. I don't know you, but I refuse to believe that you're evil or the devil. lol

Throw in some "cool catchy lines".... create some photo ops of Palin holding a hunter rifle and riding in ATV... organize some press tour at her Alaskan house... What you get? An invented public perception of Sarah Palin with all these "American wild west" allure.

Politicians are corrupt, I agree. She isn't the only one. That kind of abuse is found on every level of government. Here in NJ, governor Christie used the private helicopter to fly to one of his childrens sporting events. That cost the tax payers a couple of million for that ride. Yet, this man wants to close daycare centers and programs that help children. He doesn't mind spending money on a helicopter ride but has a problem with paying for the education of pre-k children. Again, the abuse is at every level. What do we do about it? Do we continue to just vote for them and complain? Or do we change the game as they say. Everyone points out the problem but leaves out the solution. If you know what to do then, let it be known.

Well said, Jiro. And it brings to mind a question...why is it that some seem to assume that every person behind that computer screen is lily white?:giggle: Big mistake made by many.

Jillio, I knew he was Asian. But thank you. Kisses :)

Understood! :)

Understood! :)
The other thing; I don't care if Palin took on all the male members of the Michigan campus during her single years. I just like teasing her fans.

To nobody in particular.....

Do I smell fear?

Including you.

Sarah Palin is not the solution. That I can tell you for sure. so why are you defending people who don't care about us?

Fine, but has that passed? It doesn't matter what she wants. I seriously doubt it will go any further, so don't worry about it. Your getting upset over nothing
it does not matter whether or not if it passed. What matters is her belief and she believes it's good for us. If she were the President, I have no doubt that it will get passed. Fortunately - now that people know her true side... she will never ever become President. Whew!!!

Politicians are corrupt, I agree. She isn't the only one. That kind of abuse is found on every level of government. Let's use some common sense in here. Governors and Presidents take helicopter rides all the time - for business purpose of course. If it costs a couple of million dollars just for one copter ride... we'd be broke long time ago. Even billionaire Donald Trump won't be able to afford more than a few helicopter rides per year.

Correction - Christie paid back $2,151.50 for a ride to his son's baseball game.

and about Christie's budget cut plan - well we're broke. we're flat broke. do you propose that we continue on funding something with imaginary money and pay daycare and pre-k teachers with "I.O.U." slips? Any solution Christie has is everybody's worst solution. It's a very hard job and I'm sure he has every good reason to cut down budget for it.

I'm not a fan of Christie but he's certainly a lot better than Corzine. He's the one who weeded out corporate and political corruptions before he became Governor.

Sarah Palin is not the solution. That I can tell you for sure. so why are you defending people who don't care about us?

I'm defending her because I don't believe that her intentions are negative. They may be off, but not intended to harm anyone. She's not like Hitler or a Nazi, that wanted to destroy and terminate every other race and ethnicity in the world. That's not what she's getting at. She feels that these programs will end teen or unwanted pregnancies, and std's. Honestly, if children/ teens were more responsible and knowledgeable about sex, she wouldn't have suggested this. If something is taught in the home and in school, it will have a huge impact. In my opinion, sex education needs to start at home and re-enforced at school. The only re-enforcment at school is some nasty, horny teenage boy wanting sex. You have so many parents who aren't even willing to mention sex to their children; then are so surprised when their child comes home pregnant. She feels that sex education has been left in the hands of the people and has failed, so it's time for the government to step in. I don't really agree about that course of action; it seems too much like a dictatorship. The way I feel now, I believe Palin would care and respect me more than you would ever.

On another note. You brought up before that you are Korean and didn't answer the question because of it. I know a little something about Asians. Asians are a very color struck group of people. Though they claim to be "the most christian," Koreans are extremely racist against darker people. They general like/ love white people but when it comes to people with darker skin, you are mean as snakes. By this, the reason why you didn't answer the parent question, is probably because you were raised "christian" or with "christian values" but don't follow it any more. If i'm wrong, who cares;I got it off my chest. You deflect many questions so your arguments won't be perjured.

It does matter especially if its not a law yet. What is wrong with you. That will be her belief even if it goes nowhere. Just like regardless of what she does next, you will still hate her. Just because you are president doesn't mean that every thing you want will become law. That was taught in 3rd grade social studies. Both the senate and congress has to vote and agree for the bill or law to be approved. So, she would have to go through them first. Who cares if she won't be president. She's not the woman I want in office any way.

Christie didn't use the helicopter for business purposes. That was personal which is not right. Governor know they are not suppose to use governmental equipment for personal gain. Yes, he paid it back, only when he was pressured by the media. If the media didn't get involved, he wouldn't have paid anything back. Christie and Trump are two different people. Trump pays for his helicopter and Christie makes struggling taxpayers pay for his. As far as the helicopter it does cost alot of money. Governemnt officials don't use the same type of helicopters that the "every day" person can rent.

Correction - Christie paid back $2,151.50 for a ride to his son's baseball game.

I seriously hope you feel this way when the governor cuts down pay for all teachers because that's where things are heading now. I'm not sure if you have children, but I wonder how you will react when your child can no longer go to school because of "no money." I hope you're willing to quit your job to teach them. Plus, if you knew anything about Christie, you would know that his budget cut of Pre- education is partly personal. So, its not just money. This man has a serious chip on his shoulders and needs to grown up and get over it.

I don't know what to say about this because it sounds you're... pardon me.. naive and not very multi-cultured.

Dang, that was meaner than cat meat, you Korean, you.

No witty response? Wow, I thought you knew it all. Funny how I'm labeled naive and not multi- cultured because you don't have a response; well... Thank you, goodbye.
