Sarah Palin had one night stand with former college basketball star Glen Rice?

Palin can preach all she wants but her daughter made her own decision to have sex before marriage. It's not her parents fault at all. They taught her the right way, and the daughter grew up and made up her own mind. I guess since that's your argument, parents of murders and rapists should be put in jail also? I'm pretty sure that all of them taught their child not to harm another person, but they did it any way. Everyone must be accountable for their own actions. So don't blame Palin for her daughters actions.
then you know what Palin was preaching about for years is an epic fail. With that - she expects her ideals would work well for us when she failed her duty as mom and public servant???

COMICAL!!!!! :laugh2:

I seriously bet that you do things that your parents taught you not to do. So, are they bad parents now?
the difference is.... my parents aren't running for public office and they aren't preaching to people on what they should be doing.

If I wouldn't like it, then I shouldn't be in politic. I shouldn't be preaching to public if my backyard isn't clean.

simple as that.

Here's a partial quote from John 8:7: "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her".

In short, practice what you preach.

it's always better not to preach at all imo. :P

So, you're saying that no one can change? They will always be the same?

You can change your behavior but you can not change your past and if you repeat or deny your mistakes, questions are going to be asked.

You are aware that Palin has more than one child. Its not a fail. I was brought up the same way and still carry that belief and virginity. So "preaching" that as you say, doesn't fail.

There shouldn't be a difference. Palin is human just like everyone else. Just because the job is different, doesn't mean rules are different. It doesn't matter what your parent aren't doing or doing. Your parent did preach to someone about what they shouldn't be doing. Im pretty sure you were brought up with some kind of rules/ laws to follow. Or, you must be one of those people that never had boundries or rules in your household. That's why you don't get it. You didn't answer my question: DO YOU DO THINGS/ OR HAVE YOU EVER DONE THINGS THAT YOUR PARENTS HAVE TAUGHT YOU NOT TO DO? Simple question; ANSWER IT! You don't want to because then you will admit that you're wrong. I hate it when people argue around the main point so they won't appear wrong.

Somewhere you seem to have missed the rule of not degrading others for their behaviors when the same is going on in your own family. Better known as the "Sweep your own porch first" rule. Palin fails to do that at every turn. It makes her a huge hypocrit, and hypocricy is distasteful.

When did she repeat this action? If the athlete exposed the story, I would be very cautious about believing it. Sounds like a fairytale on his part. But if you are no longer like that, should you have to continue to pay for it? You quoted that scripture. The woman that Jesus talked to was guilty of adultry, probably with many of the men that were trying to stone her. After Jesus made that statement and the men walked away, He told her one more thing. Go, and sin no more. Those men weren't allowed to judge her, only God and he had forgiven her. Palin situation is not different. As long as she asked God for forgiveness, no one has a right to say, judge or bring it up again. She currently is not having an affair or had one after the alleged one night stand. So, apparently she hasn't repeated it. I bet many of those who judge her are currently having affairs, children out of wedlock, abusing their wives etc. So, is sin different for them? No, sin is sin. There aren't mainly levels; just one. No one in this world has the right to comment or judge her unless they have lived a sinless life.

Please explain.

I never said she repeated this action. When I said "you" I meant it in the hypothetical sense and not just Palin.

I don't disagree that you shouldn't judge others. I don't ever recall stating her situation was different. I am simply saying she and others should practice what they preach especially if she and others are in the public

A Black athlete that fantisizes about Sarah Palin? Now that's funny!:laugh2:

Understood, but what I am trying to say is that Palin shouldn't be judged by her former life. She wasn't always a Christian and didn't "preach abstinence."
Many years ago, Palin wasn't a Christian nor did she practice any kind of "wholesome lifestyle." So why should her current message be tainted or be seen as a hypocrite, when she didn't believe or even preach that life style then? She turned her life around and is on a different path then when that alleged "affair" happened. Plus, she can't be held responsible for what her daughter does. The daughter was of age of accountability when she made the decision to have sex. That's her life not Palin's. People just don't get it.

You and everyone else can hate, but I think Palin is pretty. You have Black men dating/fantisizing about 300 pound white women, so I don't get what you're getting at.

Palin's demeanor vs Palin's authentic self.

What is your definition of her authentic self? Do you know her personally?

Christians still sin and I'm skeptical about Christians being better than others in morals and behaviors if the likes of Republicans and the Tea partiers are any example to judge by.

I've always thought asking Jesus to excuse your sins is a way of avoiding any responsibly for the consequences of your actions. Perhaps it's time to stop dicussing this in a religious context as we aren't allowed to discuss that.

For the record, I don't think she did anything wrong though she should have thought about the consequences of what she did.

No one particularly cares what Palin's former life was, or what her current life is either. Just a few sad hangers on.

for politicians? nope!

Please do not confuse politicians with "regular folks". Don't be naive.

I guess beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.

I might want to warn you that you are about to get into a discussion of what Black men fatasize about with someone that no doubt knows a bit more about it than you.;)

And, just because someone dates a 300 pound woman doesn't mean, in any way, shape or form, that is also what he fantisizes about!:giggle:

Again - you're confusing my parents with Sarah Palin. My parents are not politicians nor pushing for agenda that they believe is right for all. Sarah Palin is doing that and she is a failure.

Sarah Palin pushed for Abstinence-only Program... how's that coming?
Sarah Palin preached about "good ole' conservative Christian value"... how's that coming?

I don't need to answer your question because this is about Sarah Palin dictating everything for us... my parents are not pushing their belief onto anybody else. You are deeply confusing yourself and you must be very naive to believe that politicians are just like us regular folks.

that's all? She's just pretty? What about her political and moral belief? Is it pretty too?
