San Francisco Circumcision Ban

Not just US only, circumcision is majority in Israel and Muslim countries.

Most countries don't really practice it. The majority of the male population in the world are not circumcised. Less than 10% of infants go through with it in Canada nowadays compared to something like 90% or more during the 80s. It's declining in the USA too as well.

Yes, it is. No major medical association recommend it. Were you aware of that fact?

It does carry a serious risk, for instance, doctors can botch the procedure and cause serious damages to the penis and the nerves. It happen a lot more than you would think.

No, hygiene was major reason for my penis to be circumcised when I was born.

I'm circumcised and still alive, even has no any risk or complication involved, according to my parent.

Well, in my beliefs, the good book does not endorse circumcision on females, only males.

However. that's not the point. We're talking about creating laws that conflicts with the religious beliefs of others. That's always a no win situation. This invites all sorts of problems.

If you recall history, every time tyranny goes against religion, it always ends up resulting in a war and tyranny loses every single time.

You can't win a war against religion. History shows that it has never been successful.

Religious beliefs don't really matter when you take in consideration that the majority of the world population are not circumcised.

A few medical benefits of circumcision as it relates to sexually-transmitted diseases:

Circumcision - Sexually Transmitted Infections and Disease

In summary, circumcision is better.

Yeppa, when a man boinks a woman, the uncircumcised foreskin rolls in the virus, trapping it inside, increasing the chances of the virus to gain a foothold and mess things up.

Circumcision reduces that chance, especially if you wash it right away after having had the wild thing and also oxygen helps evaporate and kill the virus (not all of them, but for most of them) before it has a chance to attach itself into not only the flesh but also from getting into the bloodstream.

You shouldn't be having sex without using a condom if you are a carrier of a STD. It's common sense.

lol

virus cannot survive outside the host

To make a correction, it's actually over 20,000 nerve endings, not 3,000.

Fact: American Academy of Pediatrics does not recommend the so-called procedure. Neither does American Medical Association.

Yeppa, every man is different, for some, their performance varies by each person and for some, circumcision resolves the performance problem while some others have no problem performing even with the foreskin still attached.

Not every man is equal.
