Yes, money is the most important thing.

Not to me. But if you look around, you will see I am right. This does not make me feel good.

Right. Why go over there and make a bunch of noise, whine, like petulant little kids when all you have to do is go to the nearest competitor's store and do your shopping there from now on?

Will you be starting any new projects around the home now, like a new sundeck or spare bedroom, so you can visit Lowe's more often?

Sorry, had to ask...:giggle:

Yes, like stereotyping Christians.

Where exactly do you see that happening? I don't think I have ever seen anyone make a remark that Christians are all blonde haired and blue eyed or that they only live in a particular geographical area.:dunno2:

Read page one of this thread. "The religion that pushes people to join..."

Otherwise, this discussion is moot. Just an observation from one of those people that has been stereotyped. If it ain't happening to you, you might not notice it.

Went back and read every single post in the first page, and half of the second page. I really don't see stereotyping. But hey, I guess you do.

Maybe you should work on not taking everything personally. Seriously, no offense intended at all, but if one is secure in their belief system, and that belief system provides them benefit, then it really shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks or says.

Just because you have yet to find the courage of your convictions doesn't mean that those who do have such should not exercise it.

How do you know he hasn't? :dunno:

How do you know he hasn't? :dunno:

Because he doesn't even have a conviction yet, much less the courage of a conviction. It is quite obvious.:laugh2: A social conscience is not something that has ever been demonstrated by this particular poster. Or a couple more.

Let a Muslim even start up the walk to knock on a door, and he/she would get shot with all the unjustified paranoia going on in this country. They'd swear he was coming to bomb their house.
American Muslims do proselytize but not usually neighborhood door-to-door.

Are you speaking of your neighborhood?

Thing is, people seem to think the Nation of Islam only includes dark skinned people. They probably walk by the caucasion appearing members every day without being frightened in the least. Why is that? Where is the fear really based?
For those not familiar with the Nation of Islam:

Maybe you just don't see it. :dunno:

Did you read the website? Because if you are truly interested in learning about the Nation of Islam, I can refer you not just to a website, but several excellent books on the topic.

Yes, like stereotyping Christians.

I don't see any of that going on here. Why are you so insecure about your new organization's policies that you feel the need to defend them at every instance?

(I specifically chose that wording, since it appears that wall street rules the world, according to this. . .

Not to me. But if you look around, you will see I am right. This does not make me feel good.

So let's just not speak to power and injustice and make apologies for it. Is that okay? Being right about this doesn't mean it IS right.
