Tousi< I just be honest with you, I can't answer your question. Because I never give a try my bb connect to laptop that before.
Why I need it to connect Laptop? My laptop have built in WiFi card itself. If your laptop doesnt have WiFi card nor PC card with you. You can use the tethered curve or 8700 series (aka WIRELESS USB ADAPTER CARD WiFi NETWORK as PC card) connect to your laptop for wifi hotspots anywhere as cafe, library, starbuck, airplanes, college, many places. get it?

By the way, You can ask DK747, the one had experinced it with laptop that before. the only one can answer it.

Yeah do you think it's a typo on their part or they just putting to draw people to buy it fast lol... dang I can't wait for the rogers to bring out 8320 grrr.... then I can sell off my other 8700 to my friend.. then I don't have to pay much more for the new one whoohoo!!!
Also, why people prefer to have GPS than WifI?? why can't they have it together??? is it really that important to have GPS?? so I guess they still don't have what you call it for videos or music recording or something?? can't remember what was it... any one know??
That would depend on the carrier network it is using. At&t and T-Mobile use EDGE so it would not be too fast.

now now don't make me JEALOUS!!!!!! that's a cool front like how the yahoo and email on the side... wowwie!!! can't wait for the 8320 to come to ROGER's, nothing as yet.. grrr.. if you know any info, please do let me know smile... by the way, a great picture!!!

Can Chick, Ha I am not here to make you soo jealous. I wanted people know that tmobile selling sexy curve out today instead of september 24th on launch day! I have to chance grabbed the titanium ones before out of stock, gold color will be overleft. then I wait for titanium ones arrive in tmobile store or online that I don't want. I wanted getta one right now.. Ha..
I choose Titanuim over gold period. gold looks ugly color on BB..
roger will have titanium color (8310) on sept 24 or 25th for certian.

I made a silly. A person who stole your BB, and he would figure out what's that red button on the device. He is curious about the button so he pressed it. just wonder for air connect--edge by tmobile. how good is it compare to sidekick, i mean will it stay on air or on and off depend on where local and building? also, i don't see in website of tmobile about curve for information. how you got your pre-order if not on their website? will they show it after sept 24?

webexp, Ha Ha, thank you for clarification. I honestly tell you, I never see that movie before.. wow it is 1987, that 20 years ago.. oh shame on me. ha I will rent that movie from blockbuster or other movie store that collect old movies as you know.
justlook, the actual basic concept of as T-Mobile Wing/ MDA had wifi and EDGE. T-Mobile wing and SK are more different from serve(sp). Then BB and SK are so different serves. BB always stay connect stable than SK.. but depend on where coverage local and building. BB isn't affinied with Danger OS system and serve. BB is actually comes from RIM in Canada. BB EDGE is the best speed and load than SK that is my opinion.
I never have many issues with BB 8700g since 2007. just be so smallest issues like breakdown, miss or delay day in twice. that is it. i have no complaints.
Yes, Me too, I did not see curve online tmobile site till 24th they will release for launch. You need to stepping your feet in tmobile store. that how I walked in tmobile store to grab one off from shevles with me home. that is it..
My 8320 has wifi, what if EDGE disconnect or breakdown by servre for a delaying day. I can use wifi on BB to save my @$$..

XBGMER - I am VERY VERY VERY interested in Blackberry Curve. My wife say she already tired hear me talk all time about Curve. Hehehehe I have question for you I hope you can answer.
How much upgrade fee or how much was buy fee for the Curve? 2 year contract right? You get Data plan only or how much is unlimited? Text msg unlimited or limit only 300? I depend on text msg A LOT cuz of my hearing friends and use email for other deaf friends.
I cant believe CURVE is here!!!! YAY!! Now my wife is look at me like "oh no!" hehehehe

Ok GREAT! I just check Tmobile online in my account and I can upgrade for $299 dollars with 50 dollar mail in rebate! Yay! Now I have question. Blackberry Unlimited Email for $9.99? Is that new plan? I do not see it on Tmobile price plan. Blackberry BIS plan for $19.99 hmm is it just same plan idea like Sidekick? Same idea?
About multi IM client on BB...if I want to send some one text msg or send some one msg to another regular flip phone..I write email or is it like text msg in email way? Sorry for MANY questions. I have always have Sidekick and I am READY to move to different phone. Don't like same boring phone all the time.

Dodge Trucker, thank you for compliments. So You were wondered about $9.99 for unlimited email and 19.95 for BB BIS plan.
You can purchase unlimited email only for $9.99, will block the internet and others.
If you have voice plans, so you can require to add BIS plan with voice plan. Warning: they are separate plan price. They will more cost you. Its up to you. For instance: you had unlimited voice/ text plans for $15.00 already. And you wanted to add bis plan on to voice plan for 19.99 plus 15.00 which is total: 35.00 each months you make. Get it?
BB plan is totally different from sidekick data plan. BB has many opition plans you looking for.
Muiti IM client is different from text messages (SMS). IM client use data. Text message is different from email messages. Email message use data. Text messages use SMS as concept of as voice plan.
So, if you picked $39.99 for packaged data plan which unlimit email and internet. Or you picked 15.00 for unlimit text messages and 9.99 for unlimit email only, blocked internet you can't use.
Is that clarify to you?

Answer #1 Oh Definitely YES! you can go getta download the multi-IM client from any like YAK-ON, JIVETALK, IM+, on and on. they using data, not sms as charge. is not that good news?
jivetalk is awesome. I was used to the sidekick aim and yahoo (because of how close it is to using one on the pc) that it was hard to find one for the BB that was comparable . but Jivetalk actually feels like the same.

Answer #2 Absolutely YESSSSSss! you can do that. I heard that MMS is charge. I did send some pictures with mms to my hearing friend's cellphone. they never charged me, **scratch head**, says, thats strange. but depend on various voice/text plan you select.
I thought to like share with you litte story: Today, I walking in shopping local. I notice that "HOTSPOT" appear on my 8320, later I come out of shopping local while HOTSPOT will disappear. I was like wow, that is supercool!
unfortuately I didnt add hotspot on my account billing.. maybe add it on my billing later.
