That's true, but remember you were the one who wanted to hold Jillio accountable for her actions given the nature of her profession.

because in the nature of her profession - she faces with many difficult people on daily basis and you need to keep your head cool in any case. surely - you can apply the same self-discipline in here when debating hot stuff. if she cannot even follow the simple rule to debate cleanly in here... then what good is she in real life?

Exactly, Shel. Hence the reason why Jillio shouldn't be held to higher standards because of her profession.

I don't expect her to comport herself according to her profession even though some might wonder.....and she is not being held to any higher standards because of her profession. There are other words to describe personalities and the types who are more liable to get suspended than other types of personalities but I shall not go there. Just suffice it to say she did it all by herself.

If ADers don't want Jillio to flash out her business card, perhaps they should stop asking her questions in regards to psychology, etc. It goes both ways. I still don't believe Jillio should be expected to exercise a higher standard of behavior just because she's a counselor.

I am not necessarily religious, but I am spiritual, and consider myself to be very ethical. In fact, I am legally obligated to follow a particular code of ethics, and part of that is keeping moral issues and legal issues separated.

And no, I am not a vigilante. I am a person with ethics. Vigilantes have no concern for ethical behavior, obviously.
Now, back on topic. Obama's budget proposal.

I hope not either, Shel. But when I saw the thread, I felt it was important for me to put in my 2 cents, as this boils down to an ethical issue. I cannot compromise my ethics.

Did I totally miss something? I am kind of a newbie, but I looked at the thread to see the "fight" between Jillio and ASLGAL, and um... I don't know if posts were removed or something, but I've seen WAY WORSE fights.... and no banning was involved.
