Return of the banned people! Part II.

Methinks this thread will be dead if it actually gets juicy..... :hmm:

Besides, if you don't want to be banned one should refrain from making certain statements in certain threads.

As for me, I believe I will stay out of the drama altogether, but I admit it is fun to watch!

I'm new, so what things are considered TABOO? Just curious. I don't like to cause trouble.

Looks like 2 people recently got banned! We will have to give them a welcome back party when they return! :giggle:

Try again

OK, let me rephrase that... is there a specific TOPIC that is no-go? :hmm: Maybe it's a stupid question, but any opinions? I usually play well with others. :)

Can I ask, do u have to have so many posts to join new group of Berry's?

I think David is banned too but I don't know why

One thing I do have to say is that my new med is really helping me think twice about the things I post. If I weren't taking it, I can guarantee you that I would have been banned from AD. Even Jillio said that my posts were more restrained which is true. They are. I simply don't respond to posts that annoy me. Instead, I find humor in them and move on.

Other than noticing under the name "banned" or whatever, I guess I just don't read enough threads to know where all the overly objective material comes from. I know this is meant to be a comedy thread. I guess I just don't care who gets caught with their hands in the cookie jar.

From what I can gather, most of the people who have been banned participate in the political threads since they tend to be very heated at times. As for myself, I've been banned a few times due to what I've written in the political threads and once for something I wrote in the Lounge thread.

Religion is a No-No here...

I was thinking that earlier today when I discovered the two members being banned.

When the religion forum was open, people who participated in those would get banned often.

Lately, there hasnt been much debate in the Deaf Ed/CI threads like before.

I thought I would have to stop participating in the political threads due to my rapid cycling (please don't flame me because it's the truth and is relavent to this post), but ever since I started my new med, I've been able to control myself.

As for the religious forum, in a way, I'm glad it no longer exists. I know for a fact that with or without meds, I would be banned if I participated. Religion happens to be a hot button of mine.

...and you're right. There hasn't been alot of debate in the Deaf Ed/CI threads. In fact, those forums have been rather quiet as of late.

Also, flaming/provoking the mods and other ADers is not permitted. I was banned for provoking the mods as well as flaming other ADers and learned my lesson not to do it again.

Yea, and I am glad that the Deaf ED/CI threads have been quiet cuz sometimes, I get too emotional..I know I have the choice not to read them but because Deaf Ed is a big part of my life, it is hard not to. :)

thank you

Good to know! I figured that might be a hot button. :)

I wondered if asking certain innocent questions would do it, like whether someone felt XYZ about a specific topic related to being deaf (or Deaf)? I'm always trying not to say the wrong thing and suffer the insert-foot-into-mouth disease.
