muh got dang cable box is weird. day time, it's fine. night time, i lose local channels fer a moment. Grrrrrrr

No random vent here for today. Having a beautiful and sunny day after so many days of heavy rain and darkness, nothing can piss me off today. Not even my hubby's lack of communication wtih me regarding my son's soccer game. lol
 
My random vent basically involves MIL and "same ole, same ole" crap. Not worth detailing, just know that she's a pain in the holey (yes, intended) posterior.

worried for my friend... she steals from stores A LOT and i've been trying to tell her to stop. i love her but she's 24 and acts like a juvenile...

I really do hope you are not with her when she does shop lift from stores...or you can be held as a accessory to the crime! At age 24, seems that she has been doing this for quite a while, and getting by with it...but sooner or later, she will get caught...and the embarrassment of going to Court and on her record for theft....

As hard as it may be, since she is your friend, I would distance myself from her because she is committing a crime....I despise thieves! And yeah, I would report it, even if it were someone in my family.

You would be doing her a favor to report it, as she might be able to get some help, as what she is doing doesn't get any better...it gets worse...and she will start stealing more expensive things. She is not to be trusted in your home or anybody else's....
 
*Sigh*...what to do about phone calls from someone...over and over...after telling them not to call my home anymore!...Ongoing situation....and my saying..."I've told you not to call me anymore"...isn't doing any good. So going to Court and file an injunction on this person....as much as I hate to do it.seems the only thing I can do except change my phone number, which I do not want to do....

Yes....but that would not stop the calls. They can either go to a phone booth or use someone's else phone....even block me from seeing their number (using anoymous).....

An injunction means that "you mean business" and a court appearance, maybe even fines if they persist to do this. Sure, it's time consuming, but I'm not apt to change my number. Some people just enjoy being a pain in the azz!

I need a house that cleans itself! :lol: I so want one of those "Roombas" that supposedly self-cleans the hardwood floors. But at $200 minimum, not exactly in my budget at the moment!
