if any... dreama should focus more on euthanasia than abortion because euthanasia is absolutely cruel and immoral. It's shocking that even some European countries legalize it! <shudder>

thanks God America banned it and has very strict protocol such as PAS.

Not necessairly. Depending where one lives--the parent of the minor has the final say in what medical treatments they can obtain or not.

I know that you personally had an abortion against your will however injecting emotion into a logical discussion never succeeds

In california a parent cannot force their minor to have an abortion or to not have an abortion. That's how it should be. It is illegal to force a minor to abort.

I am going to disagree with you on this one due to parental notification laws if their minor is going to obtain an abortion or not. The reasoning is simple: parents have the right to know and are responsible for their children.

In California--the parent can't force their minor to have an abortion however in traditional-Midwestern states--the parents have the right to force an abortion on their child.

Secondly this also raises another issue of the minor crossing the state lines.....That has been addressed numerously--some succeeded, some didn't.

Again, I'll reiterate--depedning where one lives.......

They DO? I'm sorry, that is just SICK to force an abortion on your child - yikes!!! I am glad I live in CA and not the midwest. California voted NO on parental notification laws (and I voted no on the proposition too) because not every girl's family would let her get an abortion, or may hurt her. Pro-choice means choices, and forcing either way is soooooooooooo wrong.
