That's not funny. :(

I don't understand why many drivers (non company/non RV owner/non horse owner) truck drive around without anything in truck's bedbox. Just show off for size but nothing with bedbox. Why not use trailer hitches? It's better than truck's bedbox for boat, two or more ATVs, motorcycle, tractor, and larger item.

It looks sexy, faster, and good mpg.

Maybe, maybe not. How do you know they didn't just drop off something, or they are on their way to pick up something?

Not really. I know most of them very well. My next door who own truck and she work for nurse. I never see anything she carry at her bedbox but dog.

Not just Germany. It's almost whole Europe.

the reason of more people are use train in Europe. That's part of affect price.

North American is so huge and cannot afford to buy more track and better train. Everybody are use car or airport. oh boy.

There is reason that you might overlooked, some local ordiance prohibits parking trailer on driveway, meaning extra $$$ for storage fees, not worth it. I wouldn't object that at all, I do miss pu truck alot, I now have Jeep Wrangler which is really small yet gas hog! I gotta to live with it, not going to trade it because from time to time I'd like go topless, go off road, not worry about stuck in snow, etc. I do have trailer hitch on my Jeep, and will use them from time to time.

Also, it can cause damage to cars that tows anything, most cars today aren't designed for towing at all, but people do it anyway. The reason it is not good is because today most cars use Uni-frame, verses older cars that sits on frame which is perfect for towing. Uniframe means the whole body acts as frame, and making them pulling any trailer can cause frame to lose its straightness. Don't believe me? look up in car owner manual, its there.

Yes, I forget about that.

I noticed new Jeep is Uni frame now.

Hmm Most cars maximum load trailer are 1k to 3k. Should be fine enough for atv, motorcycle, etc.

"extra $$$ for storage fees" What do with that?

I don't need 5 ton trailer for that.

wow! what a sad! after i read that link!
look like everything f**k up!

Not all Jeep is uniframe, one of my Jeep yes have it, my other Jeep don't have it and is sitting on hard frame. Yes I own two Jeeps

Some local do not allow resident park their trailer even on their driveway, that can cause problems, and may force them to rent a storage space to storage the trailer. Forget it. Whats more, trailer is not cheap by the way, it is cheaper to have pu truck instead car plus trailer.

Right about the HOAs. We aren't allowed to keep a trailer on the driveway. We do have a trailer but we keep it in the backyard, behind a privacy fence enclosure.

Trailers are not cheap, that's true. Hubby bought the metal frame with tires, then built the rest of it with treated wood. He uses it for hauling equipment for his business. For personal use we haul construction materials, topsoil, river rock, fire wood, mulch, trash to the dump, and other large items. (We use it for our elderly neighbors yard stuff plus our stuff.) Hubby uses it several times per week.

The other trailer expenses are building the enclosure for the trailer, trailer accessories (light kit, tarp, reflectors, spare tire, chain and lock, ramp, cranking stand), and insurance.

We have hitches on both our Jeeps. The hitches can also hold luggage racks, which we sometimes use for carrying camping equipment.

I never said "all Jeep"

Never heard of backyard or garage? Too many my friends and family own the trailer at their backyard. Why should I put the trailer at the driveway? No problem.

Buy own the trailer for ONE time and long live 10-20 years depend how good with care. Trailer is longer life than truck. Truck is not cheap as trailer and pay more gasoline at low mpg for truck. Think careful.

Car with AWD cost $25k with good MPG and trailer cost around $1-$3k for small. IF you don't believe me then check it out.
Johnson Trailer, Colfax Wisconsin

VS truck with 4x4 over $30k and low MPG.

Do the math. :0

It all depends on individual needs and situations. Some people can use a trailer, some people can use a pickup truck, and some people have both. There is no "one-size-fits-all" solution.

I demand everybody to ride awesome bike like Tron. So awesome!

IN Kansas City, KS, gas now went up to $3.49!!! Ouchie!! I saw Diesel is over $4.15!! That's really painful for Truck driver or any owner w/ diesel engine.

Catty

Gas here is already $3.55 but I am sure it will go up much more high this summer. I won't be too suprise if that happens. Gas companies are just being so damn greedy.

yea it already goes up! we already suffer! .. i dont know what else we can do.. to me, simple plan.. go on homeless and let them scream because we cant go to work and home! that way all busniess realize what was thing went wrong! like system in american was driving a wrong way on the wrong road..

one thing was i cant wait.. is that car or truck would be electirc engine are in sell soon!!!
i need to know if they are affordable for both monthly like insurance and payment for truck.. that is my question.. let see how ..
