Poll: Growing number incorrectly call Obama Muslim

Economy may not recover in a few years. In fact, it may take several years or maybe, never but slowly spiral downward. Using FDR's example the economy had to take several years for it to recover.

Yup, you may right about it but seems scary for sure.

I hate to see economic downturn, meh.

Yup, there is issue with Gally about enroll in Spring 2011 because I'm required to attend Jumpstart program - Academic Success due low ACT score that only available in Fall 2011 and told me to defer the enrollment to Fall 2011 so I was like huh and find way to deal with this issue.

Thanks, I do love Gally since I was younger and want go there so badly. :)

What are you going to major in at Gally

Computer Information System.

If not success so I will change back to art/graphic design that was my original plan.

That is close to what I am trying to get into RIT for. Mine is going to be Networking & System Administration. My back up is Web Design

You are not going to get away with this Conservatives as they are giving us a lot of suffer too. Republicans are rich and I think they are snob (nose up in the air) over us poor hard working people. If you are Republican, then the Republicans are not better than Democrats. Hey, we all make mistake and we are humans, Okay? No big deal. Good Grief!
Are you referring to Republican and Democrat politicians, or Republican and Democrat voters?

It it's the former, then you need to look at the wealth charts of the politicians. Also, check their charitable giving records. I don't believe there are any poor Democrat politicians.

If it's the latter, then you need to look at demographics of voters. I'm not a Republican but I'm married to one. I promise you, he's not rich nor snobbish; he's hard working and generous.

I do agree with you that we're all human, and that we all make mistakes.

Except politicians. They are not supposed/allowed to make mistakes. Dang.

All of you are bashing Obama just because he is different and black (the very first president in spite of all the white big boys meaning the Presidents).
That is not only wrong, it is ridiculously wrong.

Back in the day, when Bill Clinton was President, many people were adamantly against him. When Jimmy Carter was President, many people were adamantly against him. They were as white as they come.

I'm all for a conservative black President. That would be great!

If they do make mistakes they should be willing to admit to them and rectify them. Otherwise, we citizens have the right to complain about them and vote them out of office.

About his private life/thoughts? I dunno...
If he was willing to discuss them when he was campaigning before his "change" then he has already opened the door to that area of his life. It isn't honest to close the door when it becomes politically expedient.

What are we talking about here? His religious beliefs? Sorry, I am puzzled, really.

Yes, his religious beliefs.

I didn't know he made a campaign promise to discuss his religious beliefs if elected. Tsk. If he changed his mind, I don't blame him. I dunno though, since I don't follow political closely. It seems to me that his religious beliefs are his business and no one else's.

No, he didn't make a campaign promise to discuss his beliefs but he did declare himself as a Christian during his campaign, so it was no secret. If he truly wanted to keep his beliefs private he would have said, "That is a private matter that I don't wish to share." Since he didn't take the privacy route, then continued transparency along that line is expected.

It would be understandable if it doesn't pan out that way, though.

I am wondering if anyone agrees with me that it would be idiotic for Obama to stand up and say "I am not a Muslim!" :aw:

Yes, it would be. It serves no purpose for one to stand up and say, "I am not a Muslim!"

Plus it would offend those who ARE Muslim because in that context it implies something negative about them.
