They all created this mess. The government. I plan on protecting myself like most of us do in the Northwest. *checks my supplies* :D

The shooter dad said he was out with his son and grandson and the shooter saw 2 men kissing etc and the shooter said to his dad Look right in front of son in the bathroom ! The shooter was outrage about this , this 'could' be part why the shooter went a gay bar . There been nothing on the news yet about the shooter having any
mental illness issues .
 
1) The shooter was a terrorist. If not a member of ISIS, he was clearly inspired by ISIS and pledged allegiance to them.
2) The shooter was a security guard that went through extensive background checks.
3) The shooter had a 'class G' firearms license, granting greater carry permissions (apparently - according to the media) than would be associated with a regular security guard carry permit.
4) This club was a gun free zone - enforced by security personnel and metal detectors.
5) Shots started at 2am, police stormed in at 5am. That is three hours that people were alone with an active shooter, unable to defend themselves.
6) ISIS took responsibility for the incident, making it an act of war - not some domestic dispute from a drunken spouse.

Mr. President, do you still consider ISIS to be JV league?
 
It started long before Obama got into office. LONG before.

And nice of you to derail a thread about a tragedy- should be focused on the victim rather than the shooter. Yet again after so many people bitch about why the shooter "gets all that attention and not the victims"- we are doing it again.

I'll sit right here and wait to see how long before the thread implodes and gets locked.

i think it would be rather silly to only focus on the victims
how the hell can any motives or any understanding or any long or short term strategies be cooked up to deal with future events such as this if
the very people who do it
ie shooters
are left out of the discussion afterword

we need to focus on the shooter.
why he did it
how he did it

the mistakes that lead t it so on so forth

the victims im sure will get some of the prozac and a few of the shrinks that will soon be dropped behind enemy lines to solve the plm.....

What hell are you claim about mental illness? This Muslim shooter is no mental illness and he is perfectly sane that committed evil act like Reba said. Quit using mental illness as excuse!!!

Yes, you are correct. ISIS started in 1999 and Muslim extremists have been around since 1980s after Soviet invaded Afghanistan.

Obama won't shut up because gun control laws are part of his agenda and you aren't going change his agenda until next president come in. Obama could say whatever about guns but the Congress have to make decision about gun control laws, not Obama.

Also, remember, America is divided about whoever support or against gun control laws.

im not sure what how most could protect themselves, after all mass murderers dont obey the gun free zone signs, and most people prefer not to be criminals.

How? You can't go armed in bars or clubs that where more than 50% revenues are from alcoholic beverages, also this club has metal detector in Florida and some states.

Also, Shel lives in Maryland so good luck for telling her to buy gun and be armed.

I went to gay club in 2011 in DC and they had metal detector and require to show driver license, also security was tighten too.

I wont argue that. I know I went off topic. Apologies. I think they should eliminate gunfree zones. Only the law abiding citizens obey that rule, not the criminals. Murder is illegal anyways. It is a dumb law.
 
The suspect was interviewed 3 times by the FBI and they did nothing.

guess who is in charge of the FBI? Guess who didn't call the Fort Hood shooting an act of radical Islamic terror?
