They certainly haven't overturned Roe v. Wade.

Then why mention the issue in the campaign speeches? Or in interviews? It seems they would much rather talk about issues such as Roe V Wade, than issues such as the economy and education. And obviously, Palin doesn't want to talk about the abuse of power allegations to anyone, including the investigation committee that she agreed to cooperate with prior to her being named running mate for McCain.

To be clear Maria, I don't support overturning Row vs. Wade. While I don't agree that abortion should be used for birth control, I do believe that there are many cases where it's appropriate and it should be an individual choice. You are entitled to your beliefs and I respect them.

Ahh, please allow me to say somethin' here. I know Americans want religious freedom (or freedom from religion) to define God or gods in any way they want, freedom of choice to select abortion for unwanted pregnancies and freedom to enjoy whatever entertainment they desire -- includin' films, music, books and television drenched with violence and illicit sex. Many Americans demand unrestrained sexual freedom between consentin' adults. They want and fully expect unhindered and total freedom of speech. Americans want full freedom to define culture and lifestyle issues in their image. They want unrestrained freedom to divorce. Americans claim to want fairness, justice, economics and educational opportunity for all. But all freedoms and social values must be define on their terms. Above all, they want the ability to get the leader they think best suits their desires and to get rid of a leader they don't like or get bored with when he fails to bring utopia. They want that choice on a very regular basis. They view this as a sacred right.

Is that what you want to have in a perfect leader ?

Where did you copy that from? You need to reference your source, even if you changed a couple of word endings as you copied it.

There is no source for that. I explained to my significant other about this thread and have asked him to write some wordings for me.

Then you needed to cite him as the author of the post. It was obvious that they were not your words. Your significant other is your source.

When I said " significant other " -- it is good enough to say it all. No need to cite him as the author of the post.

Anytime the words are not your own, a citation is required. You atttempted to pass the words off as your own. You can't write the answers to your kids homework, even though you have a close relationship with them. When you post something in a forum that is not your own words, it needs a citation.

??? how? Boy I'd love it if we can simply wipe out the trillion dollars debt and start over. No we can't start over but we can fix it and improve on it.

If that's what you think.. but for me, I think it is irreversible. Can't fix - IMO, because of cashless society in the near future. Please, forgive me if this is off-topic. I just want to spill the beans what is on my mind. :lol:
