time and money.
those are valid reasons. i can understand that.
time and money.
What kind of a guy do you want to date?
ohh yeah, a lot of blind people are like that. i had a friend that couldnt stand some food textures, i myself cant stand lotion, grass, and cotton balls.
i don't like certain food textures either or the way they feel in my mouth. some of them literally make me want to throw up.
i have a friend with a very restricted diet because of food textures.
that must be very difficult for them to live with.
he is fine with it, he just dosent like how some foods feel, mostly veggies.
i'm not bothered by the texture of veggies. it's meat that bothers me most.
i know, i felt raw beef the first time, and decided it would be a long time before i had a hamburger again.
i know. if someone wants me to make hamburger, i need to use fresh cleaning gloves or else i can't touch the meat. i know it probably sounds strange to use cleaning gloves, but if the material is any thinner (such as a plastic bag), i can still feel the meat and i hate that.
did you go to the 08 convention? if so, did you go to the play?
thats cool. i went 2006, then 2008, and if i teach again this summer i get to go again next year.
that would be awesome!!!
oversensitivity to textures and not likeing some textures is common among blind people. i can tell you that one from experience. some textures are gross.
I wondered that too. If you fear touching something gross. I would. I don't like the texture of memory foam pillows, I think it's the fabric that covers it that grosses me out, sends a chill of repulsion.
