Then, maybe the next time, you need to check out what the topic is before you react from an emotional place.
And you are forgiven.

most definitely. she is horribly dangerous and i cant believe shes been let loose.
I'm a staunch supporter of capital punishment and in this case... the justice has been grossly miscarried. Looks like we've got another "Troy Davis".
Please do not laugh at state sanctioned murder of the mentally ill.
Why did he kill the kids? It can't be to punish the ex wife because she filed for divorce after he purchased the gun and ammo.
Im sorry I offended you but it wasnt intended. I laughed at what he did in the chamber.
Beverly Brooks has said she believes the killings were an act of revenge for her divorce filing, not the result of mental illness.
Maybe, the ex-wife threatened him with divorce before he bought the gun.
EDIT: What he did was very sick. Most fathers usually kill themselves after they kill their families. He tried to get away and start a new life. I didnt feel sorry fer him being executed.

i think i see the connection, but in this case..there is no denying that he pulled the trigger..why really isnt important, its the fact that he did it and he needs to be taken out of society.
I do not dispute the fact that he did murder his own children but that is not an issue in here. What's critically important at hand is our conscience and our humane treatment toward those with mental retardation or mental illness.
We already have a law that prohibits executing those with mentally illness or mental retardation and it's also part of Amendment VIII. This guy had paranoid schizophrenia, post traumatic stress disorder, and psychogenic amnesia. This fact was witheld and 3 judges did not know that.
Brooks lived nearly 30 years longer than the three sons he murdered in their beds in their East Cleveland home. His victims included Reginald Jr., 17, and Vaughn, 15, and Niarchos, 11.
His execution was delayed from 10 this morning while first a federal judge in Cleveland and then the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on his mental competency. Brooks’ attorneys decided not to file another attempt with the U.S. Supreme Court, which had rejected an earlier appeal.
All courts rejected claims by Brooks’ attorneys that he should not be executed because he suffered from mental illness, specifically paranoid schizophrenia, post traumatic stress disorder, and psychogenic amnesia.
He had his appeals, Judges disagreed with you.
Former Judge Harry Hanna, one of the three on the original panel, told the Ohio Parole Board he would not have voted for the death penalty if he'd had information from police reports that were provided to the defense more recently.
there ya go
it was withheld.
There are people who are natural born killers,,,,,without a conscience...not giving damn about anyone/anything. If things don't go "their way" they eliminate it, without a thought. A child, their mother. siblings, whoever. Even dying themselves doesn't mean anything to them. They feel entitled.
I do believe the justice system has made some mistakes, executing those who are indeed, mentally ill....then again...there are people who have gotten by with the defense of pleading insanity.....Prisons are full of them, and they are deadly to anyone who crosses them.
When it comes to innocent children being murdered, of course it enrages society. It enraged me to see my own mother shot to death by someone who claimed "insanity"....
This was a horrific crime, 3 innocent children being shot to death in their own beds. If he would have then shot himself to death, then I could see the insanity of it all...but his cutting up the stereo to block out the gunshots....packing a suitcase and catching a bus to another city?....No I can't understand that....it makes it seem/look as if he knew what he did was "wrong"...and was trying to get away.
And yet the Judges still denied his appeals.
yea looks like he fell thru a crack like Troy Davis.
Nah, no cracks. Judges looked at it, considered it and ruled. He still got to live 30 years longer than the kids he killed.
I dunno if he fell thru the cracks or not....since he gave his wife the "bird" before he was executed...was like..."f--- you"...He took away the children that she gave birth to...his OWN children...gives me the impression that since she hurt him by filing for divorse...he in turn hurt her by killing the kids!
There's no way I would want to be in that woman's shoes! I'm sure she feels guilt...thinking that if she had not filed for divorse, he would have not done this, and her kids would still be aive.
judges are people too. people make flawed decision too. happens all the time in justice system. that's why Ohio's system has been revised.
