Obamacare watch...Supreme Court Decision

People who have worked for the government have more insight into how it operates behind the scenes.

Also, people who work for the government are still taxpayers and citizens, so they have a right to speak up about how it is run and who runs it.

The government pension is partially funded from taxpayers so we have rights to speak out.

My point - based on my opinion, if you don't like government so don't work for government, that it.

In 1974 the government no longer supported the USPS. As a master of fact, after that date the USPS supported the government. So your opinion is only part correct because I was not working for a government supported agency (i.e. FBI, CIA, DOJ, FAA, etc.).

Oh I see... What are we doing if USPS is failing?

I think that USPS couldn't change on own without approval from the congress like if they want increase the stamp to 50 cents or close more branches.

Those receiving the pensions are also taxpayers, so they too have the right to speak out.

It's called the First Amendment.

No one has a perfect employer. Lots of people work at jobs they don't "like." Using your reasoning, no one would be working.

Pretty sure your second point is going to be lost on the audience.

I think that I just gave a bad example because rolling7 said USPS isn't funded by federal, even the pension is self funded under USPS.

Are you sure? I think plenty of people that I met and most of them love their job.

I found out that it is hypocrite for people who hate government that still work for government.

Nope, I'm related to the guy who pushes personal responsibility and accountablity. These are the two things that you are protecting many, many people from being responsible for.

You must be realated to the "Why work, when I can get everything free from the government" guy.
do you see my avatar? ever wonder why? I work and I've never applied for any form of welfare system.

Yall realize Rolling's pension was part of his compensation, not a handout, right?

there's an expression that goes like this - "biting the hand that feeds you"

I didn't say that everyone hates their jobs. Some people like or even love their jobs. Some don't. Some have good days and bad.

I found out that it is hypocrite for people who hate government that still work for government.
A hypocrite is a person who says one thing and does another. If someone said, "I hate the Federal government and its control of my life" and then campaigned for, sent money to, and voted for candidates that wanted to increase Federal control on private lives, that would be hypocritical.

Rolling7 didn't work for the Obama administration, so I see no reason why he can't criticize the current leaders.

rolling has strong anti-government view.

That would be true if Obama simply gave rolling7 a gift of money, as in a charitable donation. However, rolling7 did not get any gifts from Obama or anyone in his administration, so he's not obligated to overlook their flaws.

I don't always agree with everything rolling7 posts, or the way he posts it, but he certainly has the right to post criticisms of the American Federal government. As does every American.

Don't forget--we don't work for the President--he works for us.

when a person has a strong anti-government bitterness and yet work for government, that's biting the hand that feeds you.

I thought rolling7 was retired.

yes I'm referring to while he was employed. I would never work for an organization whom I would have a strong criticism and disagreement on daily basis for years.

I'll have to let rolling7 speak for himself. I don't recall him posting that he had strong disagreements with USPS the whole time that he worked there. I thought most of his disagreement was with the Obama administration, not his boss.

because it isn't.

Chief Justice Roberts is only saying that Congress can but Obama won't do it. It is you and Conservative pundits who are frothing and hyperventilating over certain keyword like "tax" that didn't even happen.

In case you forgot, you are already paying for Medicaid/Medicare/Social Security taxes automatically withdrawn from your income.

So, there is no fine if you chose not to get insurance??? Interesting
