I think it's the amount of sugar they put in the instant oatmeal.
I really love the stuff, but truthfully, the instant isn't very healthy. If you really want to go for health, old fashioned oatmeal is better for you.
(But, instant tastes better! lol)
trust me it tastes same. i used to eat before go to school in hurry. cook and quick are same taste. i tried to experiment between them but same. i never heard of trying to put yogurt with? but i love them! it is good for health.
I like eating those oatmeals. The Old Fashioned Oats are good if you want to aim to eat healthy. These instant oatmeals are delicious but sweet. I know I'm bad enough to add those ingredients to the oatmeals but heck, I'm all for the taste and it's already tantalizing.
For those who hate oatmeal, have you tried to add milk instead water because it tastes better. Same way in the past I added milk instead water for tomatoes soup too.

yeah they have few varies of different oatmeal ready that comes with sugar, apple, cinnamon, and anothers. if you want to taste better just add sugar, butter, or milk.
milk, butter, and sugar added to my hot oatmeal is very delicious!
ok i got it. that is true.. i like old fashioned oatmeal that doesn't have sugar in it.
