North Korea readying rockets to aim at U.S. targets, state media says

NK had 35 submarines might hide somewhere in pacific sea. They might surprise attack at West Coast USA.

All their submarines are the old diesel/electric type and very noisy. They must surface regularly to recharge batteries and receive fresh air. Our Navy's SOSUS (Sound Surveillance System) can detect and track easily. Their range is very limited.

The difference is

Not worry: High risk of getting killed
Prepared: low risk of getting killed
Paranoid: extremely low of getting killed.

I am not paranoid, I wanted to be prepare for the unexpected. There is quote "Expect the unexpected". So what that means is if you are not expecting the unexpected, then your in deep trouble. Wow, you have too much faith in US military. They are not perfect, and they don't have enough soldiers to protect every US citizen.
ANYWAY, it will never happen that soldiers from another country like NK touch U.S. soil since we have enough airpower to prevent them from invading. You know that, don't you?

In SK, our air forces are prepared. That's why B-2 Stealth Bombers were noticed in some areas near the border for training. That scares NK military the sh*t out of them for sure.

Because NK has such a large ground army, and, they attempt to invade SK again, the best way to contain them is cruise missiles launched into the DMZ. No allied troops needed. No aircraft to be shot down. If NK launched any missiles toward American island bases or interests, a reply of a tactical nuclear cruise missile at the point of launch and continue to do so at each site until NK retreats. We no longer target large cities do to collateral damage.

One Aegis cruiser can carry 122, one Aegis destroyer 90 and one fast attack submarine 12 cruise missiles. That is about one half of a task force that deploys together. A preemptive strike would not be wise. Put all the blame on NK for making the first move.

March 2010, NK submarine is silent and stealth in sea. NK fired the torpedo to sunk the SK warship that killed 46 SK saliors.

If you are not expecting a submarine in the area, things like that will happen. SK should have been actively monitoring for an air, surface or subsurface attack. Since NK had been firing only surface to surface shells for a period of time, NK created a diversion. Old trick.

Just like the first Gulf War where Iraq was totally surprised when our army's tanks crossed the desert around them while Iraq's military was watching the gulf for a shore invasion. Just saying.....:hmm:

It ain't North Korea that worries me. It's the very fact that California (West coast) is about to break off and become an island if it doesn't wash away first.

It's not happening... We just stapled along the fault. It should be holding for another hundred years. ;)

Do you have proof that it should be holding for another hundred years?

To be fair... I am sure they have taken some very large preventative measures. All that's fine and dandy but if history could teach us something that is as consistent and backed repeatedly over time... it's the very fact that you are not stopping Mother Nature from happening. When she shows up knocking on your front door, you are going to incur her full on wrath if she so decided it to be.

Mother Nature can be a grumpy lady for sure.

Who are "They"? You mean God?

However, West coast isn't only place concerned. NYC is one other place to be concerned too. They are on fault line and nothing had happened in the last 200 years. Image majority of buildings down there can deal up to 3 on Richter scale, if 4 or higher hits... Poor these millions people. Scary.

We can't predict mother nature, when will they strike, and where. Best bet is be prepared than be sorry.

Also, flooding is other concern for NYC too.

Are you saying that staple wouldn't hold for hundred years? We already have backup plan: duct tape! If a staple fails, we'll duct tape it! :D

If NK wanted to shoot nuclear at us, give them a best shot! We already have defense against any ballast missiles, we have air and navy superior, and we have SEAL Team 6.

I was surprised that SEAL team 6 using stealth helicopters. if NK shoot it down and steal our stealth technique.

Yeah, we probably will watch them sink, sadly... we might be hearing "Oh (beep)" from them. Sad part is... we are too far from them to help them.

Just put up a real border fence sealing CA off. Governor "Moonbeam" will save them. :)

Sorry Tousi, you are on your own.
