Seem like more and more women aren't wearing makeup....

I see less women wearing fingernail polish.

My mom can't leave home without wearing makeup and fingernail polish,
even if she just is going to walmart.

But I feel more and more women, especially young women don't wear
makeup no more.

Maybe wearing makeup for a family portrait or other special occassion...
like date or church.

but anyway... do you wear makeup or no?

I voted sometimes...For work, I wear light foundation, mascara, and lip gloss and for an evening out, I add blush and eye shadow. When I was a teenager, putting make up on perfectly was a must but now that I am older and more busy, sometimes I just dont feel like it.

I heard somewhere that some makeups contain lead (a soft heavy toxic malleable metallic element).

I wear makeup for work, church, and going out socially. I don't wear it at home or running to the store. I wear clear nail polish to protect my nails. I do use moisturizer, hand lotion, and sunscreen all the time.

I don't use them. I hated it. But I do use lotion to keep my face from drying out.

I also don't mind use nail polish on my feet. But basically that's it.

Well, back when it was allowed, I would have either red or black nails. Now I can't wear color. As for make-up, only when I have work or a special occasion.

my vote says special occasion

but im not using make-up everyday! but i would like getting make-up for special reasons like as wedding, funeral, work, church, etc.

if i got married one days i will have chosen makeup but i dont using my own make-up and will have free make-up from Dillards than my family's make-up shares!

i like getting nails at shop but i do like color nails, french nails makes more beautiful nails than self paint the nails and dry nail, mess the nail! i wanted pro nails make my own nail like that!

I wear makeup for go to work, outing etc. I don't use makeup for stay at home.

I only use masacra, blackliner and lipstick (different lipstick to match color clothes). I use fingerpolish rare... I really have no time to do that... I only do it at special occassion.

I vote NEVER, because I used without makeup. If i want take some a makeup, then i look like clown. no thanks!!!!

I think your funny, you said not want to be clown LOL . I had stop make up for along time cuz of large pore or wrinkle .I dont want to be a large pore and wrinkle.I was the test free make up wed afternoon at the beauty shop ,but I want to find to use good health for vitamin care on make up.I was thinking about at health store to see if there have make up special only.
I don't want to wear it all the time ,so if all the time and it will get a large pore and wrinkle . I have a friend who make up and she has wrinkle. I dont want to be like her no thanks period.

My mother wears make-ups all the times. When she isn't wearing make-ups, she does not have wrinkles or whatever. She still looks very young for her age.

Maybe all you need is to find the right kind of make-ups that won't cause you to have wrinkles?

I only use masacra, shadow on my eyes, brush on my cheeks and lipstick. I have to look nice because I got a promotion job. It makes me look like more professionalism. ;)

I agree. Women need to find the right makeup, and they need to learn the right way to apply it. They also need to know how to take care of their skin with proper cleansing, moisturizing, and sun screening. If they keep the skin in good condition, the makeup will look better, too.

There are ways of wearing makeup without looking like you're wearing any.. and lipstick should match your face, not your clothes. I always wear lipstick that matches natural face colors.. I rarely wear it now, but I am an old pro at makeup. Been doing it since I was 13. I wore makeup all the time until I was 25.

When I was in high school, I was on the stage crew, stage make up team. I did some really dramatic faces, including "monsters". Not the best application for daily life make up! But we used a lot of the same principles of shading and highlighting. That was about 40 years ago.

When I was a teen, I ironed my hair straight, outlined my eyes with black, and wore white lipstick and nail polish. Obviously, those ways are not in style now! :P

In my twenties and thirties, lip gloss, mascara, and a light blush were all I used. I also did too much tanning in the sun (oops).

More recently, I've attended professional facial aesthetics classes, which included the use of makeup, analyzing skin and face types, skin care, waxing, and various facial techniques. (All the cool spa stuff.) Very interesting.

I also attend long-term, regularly scheduled skin care/cosmetics company's training sessions. Also, very informative.

As I get older, I can compare the various stages of age that I have experienced, and how those stages effect skin care and cosmetics. What worked for me in my twenties, with oily skin, brown eyes, medium brown/red hair, and different life style, doesn't work for me now with dry skin, green eyes, gray hair, and new activities. As the years go by, we can't stick with the same styles and products. Time marches on. :P

I like to dating girl without make-up, if she will accept her true form. :)

Is this true if you makeups for years, and they make your face really old and ruin the skin due the lack of air under the skin?
