in other word.... you view gun as toy to play around at firing range... and other than that... a complete ban. oh well!

Complete ban? Did I said it?

A complete ban wouldn't work but again, if you're going to arm every citizen, you might as well do away with police departments and allow people to take the law into their own hands. They might go too far as to enforce their own personal beliefs onto others.

OMG! Again, did I say complete ban? I think you both guys should re-read my posts. I own a gun!

like I said - a polite version of gun ban

and why do you assume everybody is going to get armed? I continue to fail to understand liberal's logic like this. I do not know why do they keep thinking of such widely improbable scenario. STOP WATCHING MOVIES!

I'm not watching movies. Just expressing an opinion. Are you drinking or something? It sounds to me like you're screaming at me. I'm typing this at work.

I support this idea and to me, it's the least a school can do.
I guess you're fine with going to prison-like school because I'm not. It is not a good learning environment for kids. I'll be taking my kids to private school even though if I have to work double-shifts just to pay for it.

Not a bad idea, especially if a student has a history of acting out or using violence in school (bullying, etc).
uh.... do you realize the school shooters aren't the bully? they're the one who got bullied. FAIL!

Well, cops are expected to use good judgment when using said weapons. There are still cops that even though they have good intentions, they go too far in enforcing them.
and still - you trust high-stress cops with MINIMAL training over well-trained armed citizens? that's a very frightening thought. and you worry about some depressed or angry citizen going shooting spree for no reason... and I worry about a deranged power-tripped cop going on shooting spree too. Far-fetched right? yea there you go. oh btw - did you forget about that cop who killed whole people just because he got humiliated by somebody in front of people?

yea drinking some FIJI water... you know.. the whole volcanic rock filtering. something that my brother's obsessed with. I prefer my $1/bottle poland spring water. and no it's not meant to be THAT literal... what I meant is that you're concocting all these silly scenarios probably from movies or Fox news :cool2:

I never said that I support a gun "ban", but support its protection from the owner and the criminals. Even I never said "ban", so quit debating with me with your twisted words in my mouth.

Umm whatever, I don't know what exactly you are talking about of me and my liberal POV. Nonsense.

Sorry if I sounds too rushy, but it actually sorta of shocking that you and Jiro bought up that I support gun ban even though I never say that two words.

What is it with you, jiro123?

First, you complain that liberals complain about your ideas and when someone agrees with them, you throw another hissy fit.

And private schools aren't so great either, as anyone who's gone to a private deaf school and gotten a shitty education, can attest to.

Oh, and one more thing. Your next-to-last reply was an:

I'm gonna punch out and head home. I'm freakin' tired.

lol.... lol.... lol.... got a lot of hate against people with money, huh? I'm sorry but your life experience is not something you can attest to. I can attest to anyone who's gone to private schools and gotten an outstanding education. another FAIL!

I complain of liberals who are illogical and irrational because they are the one who are squashing our civil rights without even realizing it.

like i said - a polite version of gun ban. Like I said - guns LIMITED to only at firing range and one's home. That is basically nearly useless as we all don't live in our homes 24/7. What about outside our home? You do not support that.

I'm not twisting your words. You are just twisting your own view of reality with flawed logic.

No you are an illogically, that situation is not a "ban", but "gun restriction". Be careful about judging others about their logical please. :ty: Gosh!

EPIC FAIL!

A hissy fit? I guess you should not be in debate threads since you perceived it as hissy fit. This is called a debate where differences and arguments will be exchanged between 2 parties. Comprende? :cool2:

so....... again - in other word.... a POLITE version of gun ban. It's like saying - you can own a car but the only place you can drive it is at racetrack or on your driveway. Yea.... car restriction.

Ban mean can't do anything with it and it have to be gone completely.

which is why I said..... a "polite version." You can wrap it in any way you want and call it a gun restriction but we gun owners view it as "nearly gun ban" :dunno:

Use other "minor weapons" than just guns (i can't think of name something is less dangerous weapon...).

- What if students steal teachers' guns?

and what if the cops show up and how are the cops know that the armed teacher is not the shooter???? (especially at colleges/universities)

I would learn martial arts... that way my 'weapons' can't be stolen.

KarrisaMann05, you got a good list on why we shouldn't armed the teachers.

How about every student wear vest? Does that make you feel safe? Sadly, snob teenage wouldn't wear it during the stupid fashion

That's a problem if you, deafie, visit in your old school, someone scold at you for not allowing inside the school when you are walking in and not aware of what's going on so he has to pull out his gun and shoot you. What are you going to do about it?

at my school, ASD (Ark. school for the Deaf) they have new rule require you to sign in on a visitor paper and put visitor badge (pass) with ur name on it on you then u can go around school and talk to teachers, houseparents and so on. after you are done with visiting the school then you are require to go back to the admin center and sign out on the paper so that way they know you left school and arent posing any dangers to the students or school.

common sense so they wont point gun at you cuz u have a visitor pass. ha. :laugh2:

That's true... My old HS has an office which is in the middle of the building so I don't know whether I would able to do that. Oh, I see sparks on the brick walls and we wouldn't figure it out why they look alike fireworks. Suddenly, it was a security man that is shooting at us. aaahh! Run your life! hee. hee.
