why not? Its an opportunity to serve your new country after all .... and since you are so critical of the Border Patrol's ROE, here is a chance to influence some real change. I am sure they would much rather listen to someone with experience .....
Being in Border Patrol is not a requirement nor proof of patriotism. I am critical of Nicholas Cordett's judgment, not Border Patrol.
Influence some real change? In case you didn't know - the "real change" is usually made by somebody higher ups who usually have never served in field and also is usually influenced by the citizens' outspoken opinions.
I serve my country by being an outspoken, educated, tax-paying voter. I don't believe in blind patriotism. Neither do patriots. In case you don't remember - DLA approached me. I kindly declined. Sorry but I've got bills to pay. Beside - I work for those who train & license the professionals to work for government
