Language Skills of Children with Early Cochlear Implantation.

My son associated deafness not with auditory perception, but with language used. It ahd nothing to do with hearing or not hearing, but with the use of sign
YES! There are some people out there who use Sign as a first language, who are Deafer then someone with a severe or profound loss who only speaks.

Mod Note:

Time to cease and/or desist the way of belittling one's opinions, etc.,....
Everyone, from all walks of life will have various of levels with intelligence, comprehension, knowledge...no one should cut slack for another's person inablities in any of these levels...the 'key', once more, is 'respect'...if one doesn't have that 'respect', then don't bother posting. 'Help another to understand one's perspective' can go along ways than resorting to such ways like belittling. Sure can make a difference.... ;)

(Also, I am not 'singling' anyone out whatsoever--it's just like putting together a puzzle, the pattern just doesn't want or have the desire to 'fit'..creating conflictions/contradictions which results with an incomplete puzzle...that's simply left or continued to be in a disarray)

Think about it.
